6. When the machine is completely on the trailer, swing the upperstructure to the rear, so as to bring the attachment round to the access ramp side. Make sure the attachment is in line with the rear part of the trailer and then bring the machine right to the front of the trailer.

7. Retract the bucket and the dipper, place a wooden block (4) directly below and then lower the boom until the attachment is resting on the wooden block.

8. Place a wooden block below the dozer blade and then lower the dozer blade onto the block (if fitted). 9. Use the controls on the left-hand control arm to lock the attachment and swing functions. 10.Stop the engine, remove the starter switch key, raise the control cancellation lever and the left-hand control arm.

11.Get out of the cab, lock the cab door and then make sure the hoods and side doors are properly fastened. 12.Place rubber blocks (5) at the front and rear of each track.

13.Use chains (6) and blocks (7) to hold down the machine. 14.Measure the distance between the ground and the highest point of the machine. You must know the total height.

Unloading

1. Carry out Steps 1 to 3 of “Loading”. 2. Remove the retaining blocks and chains.

3. Start the engine. 4. Use the controls on the left-hand control arm to unlock the attachment and swing functions. 5. Lower the control cancellation lever and the left-hand control arm.

6. Raise the dozer blade (if fitted) and the attachment to bring the bucket a few centimetres above the floor of the truck or trailer.

7. More slowly forward, raising the attachment so as to keep it a few centimetres above the ramps. IMPORTANT: In this position, the travel controls are reversed.
