A MESSAGE FROM BORIS Being a part of the Essential Workforce during the COVID-19 pandemic has had its challenges, but #TeamHelix continues to rise to the occasion and has been a big part of keeping our projects and the economy going. Thank you to each and every member of the Helix Family for working hard while ensuring everyone stays safe and healthy. We appreciate your diligence when it comes to hand washing and social distancing, we are grateful to everyone for wearing their face coverings when they are unable to maintain social distancing, and we look forward to continuing to support our employees and their families as best as we can during these difficult times. In April, Helix disbursed grants to eighteen employees who were impacted by COVID-19. We are supporting affected employees by providing them with household essentials during their time of need and we have launched specific protocols to ensure this illness doesn’t spread on our jobsites and in our offices. The COVID-19 Task Force is working diligently to support all our employees during this unprecedented crisis. As we navigate through these challenging times together, we have remained dedicated to living out our Helix values and doing right by people. Thank you to all who participated in the #HelixGives challenge in May! Among the many amazing things our community did to give back, #TeamHelix organized three blood drives, delivered care baskets to doctors, nurses, and support staff at various local hospitals, collected food to be distributed to individuals in need, delivered breakfasts and lunches from local restaurants to first responders, cooked meals for those who fell ill, and celebrated teachers and neighbors through beautiful works of art. We are proud of all who participated and encourage you to keep giving back.
