The EchoWater Project is among the largest public works projects in Sacramento’s history and the largest treatment facility of its kind in the United States. A response to stringent new wastewater treatment requirements from the State of California, the majorly upgraded sytem will produce up to 343 million gallons of cleaner recycled water per day for Sacramento County.

Helix is providing the electrical and control systems for the project. Additionally, our team is installing the instrumentation and control system for the automation and control of the entire plant.

Through the project, Team Helix is building a great relationship with Balfour Beatty Infrastructure. Superintendent Devin Dunnicliffe says that the team has helped keep the project on schedule by providing several solutions for the project's General Contractor and Owner.

Dunnicliffe is thankful to be part of a project that is "technical, challenging and fun all at the same time!" Dunnicliffe recognizes that the team has a long way to go, but believes the outcome will be "another successful project to add to Helix Electric’s impressive list.
