Walker headed to EDC training

Howe Development Alliance Director Monte Walker will be headed to San Antonio all week for a course with the Texas Economic Development Council.
The Basic Economic Development Course focuses on the fundamental concepts, tools and skills needed to be successful in today's political, economic and business environment. The course will provide Walker with a comprehensive understanding of the keys of successful economic development. The BEDC is the first step toward professional certification. The course is conducted through a partnership with the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX).
