COMPONENT OPERATION / Brake Master Cylinder OPERATION • When brake pedal is operated 1. When the brake pedal is not depressed, piston (3) is pushed to the left by return spring (4). 2. Consequently, when the brake pedal is in neutral, the pressure chamber and the reservoir chamber are connected via the relief port, and are connected to brake oil tank. 3. When the brake pedal is depressed, push rod (1) pushes piston (3) to the right and pushes return spring (4). 4. Therefore, the pressure chamber and the reservoir chamber are blocked and brake oil in the pressure chamber is routed to the brake front axle side.
