COMPONENT OPERATION / Brake Master Cylinder

Operation

• When brake pedal is operated

1. When the brake pedal is not depressed, piston (3) is pushed to the left by return spring (4).

2. Consequently, when the brake pedal is in neutral, the pressure chamber and the reservoir chamber are connected via the relief port, and are connected to brake oil tank.

3. When the brake pedal is depressed, push rod (1) pushes piston (3) to the right and pushes return spring (4).

4. Therefore, the pressure chamber and the reservoir chamber are blocked and brake oil in the pressure chamber is routed to the brake front axle side.

Gear Pump

COMPONENT OPERATION / Others

The gear pump (main pump) is connected to the HST pump in tandem. Engine output power is transmitted to the HST pump shaft directly. The rotation of the HST pump shaft is transmitted to the gear pump.

The gear pump (main pump) supplies pressure oil to the main and steering circuit.

When the shaft rotates, the drive gear rotates, so that the driven gear is rotated. Pressure oil drawn to the pump fills the spaces between the gear teeth and housing, and is delivered to the outlet port along the inside of the housing.
