PREHEAT CIRCUIT (KEY SWITCH: HEAT)

• When the key switch is turned to the HEAT position, terminal B is connected to terminal R1 in the key switch.

• Current from terminal R1 excites the glow relay. Battery power is supplied to the glow plug from the glow relay through the fusible link (100A).

• While the glow relay is excited, the pre-heating is carried out as the power is supplied to the glow plug from the glow relay.

• While the pre-heating is carried out, the glow plug relay is ON so that current is supplied to the monitor unit and lights the preheat indicator.

• Even if the pre-heating is not carried out, the preheat indicator lights for 2 seconds in order to check the indicator bulbs.
