Forward/Reverse Lever at Operated Position

• Starting Circuit

• When the key switch is turned to the START position, terminal B is connected to terminals ACC and C in the key switch.

• Battery power is supplied to starter relay 1 through terminal B in the starter motor and the fusible link (100A).

• When either the forward/reverse lever is in the forward or the reverse position, starter relay 1 is not excited as current from terminal C in the key switch is not supplied to the neutral circuit in the forward/reverse lever. Therefore, battery power is stopped at starter relay 1.

• Therefore, in case when either the forward/reverse lever is in the forward or the reverse position, the starter motor is not operated even the key switch is turned to the START position
