SYSTEM / Hydraulic System

(Refer to COMPONENT OPERATION / Brake Master Cylinder.)

• The brake pedal is connected to the master cylinder via the link.

• The brake master cylinder is filled with brake oil in the brake oil tank.

• Pressure oil from the brake master cylinder is routed to the front brake and the service brake is applied when the brake pedal is depressed.

NOTE: The service brake circuit is held due to the brake master cylinder with the engine stopped.

Parking Brake Circuit

• Pressure oil from the HST charging pump is routed to the parking brake solenoid valve.

• When the parking brake switch is turned OFF, the parking brake solenoid valve is excited and pressure oil flows to the parking brake cylinder so that the parking brake is released.

• When the parking brake switch is turned ON, the parking brake solenoid valve is not excited and pressure oil stops being supplied to the parking brake so that the parking brake is applied.
