CHARGING CIRCUIT (KEY SWITCH: ON)

• After the engine starts and the key switch is released, the key switch returns to the ON position.

• Terminal B is connected to terminal ACC in the key switch with the key switch ON.

• Current from terminal ACC in the key switch excites charge lamp relay [3] through fuse #9 in the fuse box.

• The alternator starts generating electricity with the engine running. Current from terminal B in the alternator is supplied to the battery through the slow blow fuse (starting/charging), starter motor terminal B, and charges the battery.

• When current from terminal a in charge lamp relay [3] is supplied to terminal 1A-14 in the monitor unit as the generating electricity start signal of alternator terminal L, the alternator indicator lights. When no current is supplied to terminal 1A-14, the alternator indicator goes off.
