Air Bleeding Procedure 4.2 Winch brake release circuit

4. Winch circuit (main and aux.) 4.1 Winch motor [NOTICE] Do not apply any load to the motor before performing air bleeding. Bleed the winch motor by following either (1) or (2). 1. Pour the hydraulic oil through the drain port into the casing until the oil flows out. (After connecting all pipes, pour just before operating the motor.) 2. Perform the slow hoist-up or hoist-down operation

4.3 Winch counterbalance valve For each winch, use the operations below to bleed the air from the counterbalance valve. 1. Engine speed: Max., with PTO ON (Start at idle and gradually increase the speed.) 2. Lever operation: Repeat hoist-up and hoist down. 3. When there are no more bubbles in the oil that flows out, close the plug while the oil continues to flow.
