7. Accumulator unload relief valve

7.1 Adjusting the pressure

[NOTICE]

Oil temp: 50 ± 5 C (Operating oil: Tadano hydraulic oil LL) Perform switching while engine is idling, then increase engine speed.

On-load 9.8 - 11.3 1420-1630

1. Turn the A/C and oil cooler OFF.

2. Turn the PTO switch ON.

3. Operate the winch to drain the accumulator pressure. Use AML (operation mode) to check the pressure at which pressure accumulation starts.

Immediately after the unload relief valve goes to on-load, and pressure accumulation is completed, check the pressure with AML (operation mode).

Unload 13.5-14.5 1960-2100 1700 (MAX.)

[NOTICE]

(Note) Leakage through the hydraulic valve will cause the pressure to gradually decrease. Therefore be sure to check immediately after pressure accumulation is completed.

Unlike ordinary relief valves, the position of the adjustment screw does not directly translate to changes in the pressure gauge reading.

After making one adjustment, drain the accumulator pressure by operating the winch, and check the setting pressure. Be careful to avoid confining excessive pressures in the system.

After adjusting, check the operation of the unload relief valve.

When adjusting the setting pressures, tighten the adjustment screw to adjust the high-pressure side, and loosen the adjustment screw to adjust the low-pressure side. After completing the above adjustments, check the setting pressure.
