Operation Refuelling buses with filler valve in the engine compartment Refuelling buses with filler valve in the engine compartment Danger. The vehicle is not suitable for operation on autogas (LPG, liquefied petroleum gas).
Caution: Only ever fill the gas tank with natural gas (CNG).
Caution: Use filler couplings approved for compressed natural gas (CNG). Do not use any type of adapter.
Caution: Natural gas is highly flammable and forms an explosive mix when combined with air. Smoking, fire, flying sparks and naked flames could cause an explosion.
Danger. Refrain from smoking and eliminate all possibility of fire, creation of sparks and naked flames in the vicinity of the vehicle. This especially applies in the following environments: Filling station, engine compartment, compressed-gas reservoirs, bus depot and workshop.
Danger. Danger. In the absence of an odouriser, natural gas has no discernible odour. Only ever refuel using dry natural gas mixed with an odouriser.

In high concentrations, natural gas causes drowsiness and asphyxiation due to the displacement of oxygen. Change out of all clothing penetrated by the gas, and air it well. Ensure adequate ventilation in enclosed spaces.
Danger. The compressed-gas system is highly pressurised. The pressure is maintained in the line system of the compressedgas system even after the engine has been switched off. Improper tampering with the compressed-gas system and the compressed-gas reservoirs could result in an escape of natural gas and thus cause injuries such as frostbite.
Observe the general information on refuelling.
