Air conditioning 13. With DaimlerChrysler OM 502 LA (JAGUAR 900 – 890): Screw the air conditioner compressor to the engine. In doing this, the hex head bolts must be fitted with a liquid thread sealing compound, e.g. DELO-ML-5349, (Part no. 0201 801.1), and tightened down. When doing this, observe the relevant tightening torque – see page 1.4.1, Tightening torques screws. 59

Removing the compressor Remove refrigerant at the connections (D, pressure side) and (S, suction side) of the air conditioner hoses by suction. This should be done very slowly to prevent refrigerant oil from being extracted as well. Caution! The regulations of the unit manufacturer (air conditioner filling/extraction unit) must be observed.
