Maintenance CLEANING AND CARE ATTENTION! Cleaning of surfaces with decals using high-pressure jet cleaners. The decals are damaged. –Avoid cleaning with high-pressure cleaners. –Clean surfaces only if a sufficient distance from the high-pressure jet cleaner is observed. –Set the water pressure and the water temperature as low as possible. –Do not subject the decals to mechanical loads during cleaning. –Replace damaged and illegible decals (hazard warning signs / safety decals / letterings / identification plates) immediately.
• Remove harvesting residues and blades at regular intervals.
• Do not clean cut-out clutches, bearing, hydraulic system and electric parts with a high-pressure jet cleaner or steam cleaner. – Danger of damage and corrosion.
• Cleaning at excessive pressure may cause paint damage.
• Before and after cleaning the machine with a high-pressure jet cleaner, grease bearings. After this, carry out a short test run so that the water which has seeped in will be pressed out of the bearings.
• A grease collar should exist at the bearings. This protects the bearings against ingress of dirt, plant juice and water.
• When parking the machine outdoors for an extended period, clean the ram rods of hydraulic cylinders and then apply grease to them. – Prior to putting the machine into operation, remove the grease from the ram rods hydraulic cylinders.
