Extreme risk of injury by mower blades becoming loose! –Ensure that the mower blades and mower blade mounting bolt are correctly seated.
–Check that the mower blades are correctly seated.
The mower blade must rotate freely and move easily in both directions. (Fig.85-89)

ATTENTION!
Extreme risk of injury by mower blades becoming loose. –Always ensure proper seating when installing the mounting bolts.
Replacement mounting bolts/ nuts must at least comply with the technical requirements laid down by CLAAS. This is always ensured if you use original CLAAS spare parts. –Before each use, check the securing bolts of the mower blades.
–Always replace damaged or worn securing bolts. The mower blade mounting bolts must be replaced if any of the following occur: • Visible deformation of the mounting bolt (e.g. after running into an obstacle). • Missing or ineffective thread coating, caused by water, oil or dirt. • If the screw head is worn down to the blade contact surface. (Fig.90)
