Extreme risk of injury by mower blades becoming loose. –Ensure that the mower blades and blade mounting studs are fitted correctly.

The mower blade must rotate freely and move easily in both directions.

–Check that the mower blades are correctly seated.

–After use, replace the mounting lever in the bracket on the machine.

Extreme risk of injury by mower blades becoming loose. –Replace damaged mower blades, mower blade brackets and cutting discs.

Do not weld or straighten.

Replacement mower blade brackets must meet the minimum technical requirements specified by CLAAS. This is always ensured if you use original CLAAS spare parts. –Before each use, check the securing bolts of the mower blades.

–Always replace damaged or worn mower blade brackets.

The mower blade brackets must be replaced under the following conditions: • If the contour of the mower blade bracket shows signs of wear.

Wear limit: X = 15mm

Y = 12mm

• If the thickness of the mower blade bracket is reduced.

Wear limit: W = 3mm

Z = 4mm

• Visible cracks or serious wear of the welded seams (S) on the mower blade mounting stud.

DANGER!

Extreme risk of injury by mower blades becoming loose. –Check the welded seams before each operation.
