47 Pendulum frame - adjusting the float springs
The pendulum frame is held horizontal with the springs(4). The position of the front attachment is adjusted using spring tension. Proceed as follows: –Open the hood and secure –see Hood, page9.50. –Release nuts(5). –Tension springs(4) evenly with bolts(6) to dimension(Z).
Basic setting:
Dimension(Z) = 82.5mm ± 2.5mm –Tighten nuts(5). –Check setting with front attachment fitted. –Fit front attachment completely. –Raise front attachment. –Open lock. The front attachment must be horizontal. –If necessary, correct the setting until the front attachment is horizontal. –Close hood –see Hood, page9.50. (Fig.46,47)
