To change the mower blades: –Remove the mounting lever(5) from the bracket. (Fig.67)

–Insert the mounting lever(5) between the cutting disc(6) and the mower blade bracket(3). (Fig.68)

NOTE!
Pull the mounting lever(5) outwards parallel to the axis of the cutting disc up to the stop.

–Clean the recess(8) in the skid. –Place the mower blade bracket(9) exactly over the recess(8) by turning the cutting disc. –Push the mounting lever (5) downwards. (Fig.70)

The mower blades for clockwise and anticlockwise rotating cutting discs are different. When fitting the mower blades, take the direction of rotation into account.
The arrow on the mower blade must correspond to the direction of rotation of the individual cutting disc.

–Insert a new mower blade(10) with the sharp edge pointing downwards. Alternatively: –Check mower bladefor wear –see Checking the mower blades, page9.32. –Turn mower blade over if the second edge is unused and insert with the sharp edge pointing downwards. (Fig.75)
–Release the mounting lever (5).
DANGER!
Extreme risk of injury by mower blades becoming loose. –Ensure that the mower blades and blade mounting studs are fitted correctly.
The blade mounting stud(11) must fit snugly (see arrows) and lie straight in the locating hole of the cutting disc(6).
