–Open the hood (1) and secure –see Hood, page9.50. (Fig.43)

–Loosen nut(3). –Screw in or back off spring guide(4) to dimension(Z). –Tension spring(2) with nut(3). –Check dimension(Z). –Repeat procedure if necessary. –Tighten nut(2). DimensionZ = 47 mm (Fig.44)

Checking V-belts

Check the V-belts of the mower drive regularly for wear, breakage and other damage and replace if necessary.
