construction The motor has a 2-bolt SAE A mounting flange and is assembled with, precision made, high-strength steel machined and cast parts. The motor has a Geroler displacement mechanism that provides a high starting and running torque. The Geroler element minimizes friction and thereby increases efficiency while providing smooth output shaft rotation even at low speeds. The motor shaft rotation can be instantly reversed by changing direction of input/output flow while generating equal torque in either. The fluid is distributed to the Geroler pockets through a patented wear compensated disc valve. The pressure balanced sealing surface on the valve face provides minimal leakage. The motor is completely sealed so they can operate safely and reliably in hostile environments such as dust, dirt, steam, water, and heat and provide a highly efficient reliable performance.

maintenance Visually inspect the motor and hydraulic connection for leaks or damage and replace or repair if necessary. The motor should be examined and, if necessary, rebuild after every panel to ensure a reliable and long life.
operation Hydraulic power is supplied to the motor by two high-pressure inlet lines that are controlled by the valves found in the control bank (see the “Multi-section Control Valve” section).
WARNING
Do not run motor with a mineral based oil and then switch to 95/5 emulsion without first flushing the system or damage to seals and components will result.
Do not attempt to repair or change motor while there is hydraulic power to the BTP or while the crawlers are in operation. WARNING
