ESPAÑOL “Soy Myriam Bertil, estudié en una Escuela de Arte y Diseño en París, y sobre todo soy diseñadora gráfica. Para poder vincular el diseño gráfico con el arte, he creado Nibline Studio. De este modo, puedo fusionar mis dos pasiones. Para mí, la pintura es un segundo medio de expresión. Soy libre de elegir el tema y tengo la oportunidad de realizarme en lo que hago. Me inspiro en mis recuerdos, en mis viajes y, sobre todo, en la Isla de la Reunión, donde crecí. Este lugar es un entorno natural lleno de colores y emociones que me hizo tomar conciencia de lo que nos rodea. Mi hipersensibilidad me permite reconocer todas las bellezas que nos rodean y por ello, mis cuadros se centran en el arte botánico. La naturaleza es inmensa, poderosa y grandiosa. El mundo natural se convierte en el objeto de un cuidadoso análisis, y luego en el tema de mis obras originales. Mis diseños exploran vastos conceptos como la naturaleza muerta, la percepción y la impresión. Me inspiro en la naturaleza y su diversidad. Las plantas, las flores, los árboles, todos son temas ricos para mí. Puedo divertirme con los colores, trabajar con los volúmenes utilizando luces y sombras, y apreciar la pureza de las formas. Utilizo principalmente el acrílico. Esta técnica me permite obtener una representación muy pigmentada, contrastada y texturizada. El trabajo entre la sombra y la luz se ve así reforzado. Por último, busco crear obras sensibles intentando captar la naturaleza y celebrar su encanto y elegancia.” Nibline Studio ENGLISH “I’m Myriam Bertil, I studied in an Art and Design School in Paris, and I am above all a graphic designer. To be able to link graphic design with Art, I created Nibline Studio. This way, I can merge my two passions. For me, painting is a second means of expression. I am free to choose the subject and I have the opportunity to be fulfilled in what I do. I glean my inspirations from my memories, my travels, and especially from the Reunion Island where I grew up. This place is a natural environment filled with colors and emotions that made me aware of what surrounds us. My hyper-sensitivity allows me to recognize all the beauties around us. As a result, my paintings focus on botanical art. Nature is immense, powerful and grandiose. The natural world becomes the object of careful analysis, then the subject of my original works. My designs explore vast concepts such as still life, perception and impression. I feed my inspiration on nature and its diversity. Plants, flowers, trees, all are rich subjects for me. I can have fun with colors, work with volumes using light and shadow, and appreciate the purity of shapes. I mainly use acrylic. This technique allows me to have a very pigmented, contrasting and textured rendering. The work between shadow and light is thus reinforced.
