Artista húngaro que actualmente vive y trabaja en los Países Bajos. Los últimos 14 años se ha centrado en los deportes ecuestres. A lo largo de los años trató de expresarse en diferentes formas de arte como la música, la fotografía y el videoarte. Cuando entró en contacto con la pintura, para él fue como recuperar algo que no sabía que le faltaba. Para Gabor, la música todavía juega un papel importante en su vida, es la pintura, que se encuentra en los colores mismos y especialmente en los gestos vinculados a la creación, lo que lo convence del extraordinario potencial que un lienzo y un poco de pintura pueden reservar. Un lienzo que se convierte en una ventana a la interioridad del artista, que sale y se manifiesta a través del uso de los colores que mejor expresan las diferentes facetas de su alma. La implicación física del artista, ligada a la práctica de la pintura de acción, amplifica el vínculo visceral que se establece entre el artista y el proceso creativo, al final del cual la obra se revela al espectador en toda su integridad y profundidad.

Hungarian artist currently living and working in the Netherlands The past 14 years He’s been focused on equestrian sports. Throughout the years tried to express himself in different forms of art like music, photography, and video-art. When he met painting, for him it was like getting back something that he didn’t know was missing. For Gabor, music still plays an important role in his life, it is the physicality of painting, which is found in the colors themselves and especially in the gestures linked to creation, that convinces him of the extraordinary potential that a canvas and some paint can reserve. A canvas that becomes a window on the artist’s interiority, which comes out and manifests itself using colors that best express the different facets of his soul. The physical involvement of the artist, linked to the practice of action painting, amplifies the visceral bond that is established between the artist and the creative process, at the end of which the work reveals itself to the viewer in all its integrity and depth.
