It is my privilege to be writing to you all again and introduce the August 2023 Newsletter for CVJFC. Our previous edition reached over 1,000 readers! Since then the club has achieved amazing things across all age groups and I thank all of our coaches and volunteers for their tireless work in delivering football to over 200 young players. The pages that follow will showcase:
- The joy and celebration of Club Presentation Day for all age groups.
- The Roses are here!
- CVJFCGirls ?Roses?Football established.
- CVFCLadies ?Roses?Team welcomed.
- Impressive 5k run fund raising efforts by the U9s
- League success, Cup Wins and undefeated seasons for teams across the club.
- Refereeing excellence as our young referees are among those selected by the FA.
- FA?s praise of our club Mental Health initiatives.
- Exciting and sociable dates for the diary to build the fabric of the club.
- Opportunities to get involved, sponsor or support this forward thinking club.
- Input and news from our partners at the CVSA, Cricket Club and wider community #oneteam
Having highlighted all the positive news to follow, it saddens me to have to place this within the foreword, but it is absolutely necessary. We are facing a persistent spate of vandalism and abuse of club facilities (see the photos below). The club works hard to diligently invest your player?s fees into equipment in a sustainable way - it is heartbreaking to see equipment that has been bought at great expense by the club, built and maintained by volunteers, only to be abused and destroyed by thoughtless youths on the sports fields.
With use of the new and enhanced CCTVcapability at the sports fields and pavilion, this activity will be captured and if it continues to occur, be used to support the CVSA in taking formal action with the Police Please support us as a community organisation in ensuring that this does not happen.
Looking forward, in a matter of weeks the new season will be upon us, along with a busy schedule of Club activities on and off the football pitch. I hope you all (players, guardians, volunteers and coaches) have a fantastic and enjoyable season May football continue to be a positive influence in bringing us together, fostering team work and developing the whole person, regardless of age!
Thank you for your continued support. With very best wishes,
James MaguireWith all the growth happening within the club, we are always looking for more people to step forward and volunteer in any way that they can. Whilst it is great to get volunteers to step forward to coach, there are other roles that people can take on that don? t involve coaching. This could be selling the football boots on a morning in the pavilion, or helping with paperwork at the club.
We would really like to see somebody come onboard who could lead the U6 squad (SMSC) with a view to then progressing with them to U7's for the following season, as Luke has done this past year.
Other roles that we would like volunteers to step forwards and take on are the following:
- Coaching - There are always opportunities within the club for anyone considering becoming a coach
- Social Media Officer - to work alongside the Commercial team and Management Committee to help schedule our social media posts more effectively
- Assist Tracey with the tuck shop at training on a Saturday morning serving tea/coffee/sweets
- Relaunch the boot swap shop where people can donate their old football boots so others can purchase them
- Team Secretary roles to assist with ensuring the required paperwork is handled for all players within a squad
- Referee - Fancy refereeing games??Speak to us for more info
Please speak to James or email info@cat t erickvillagejfc.net if you feel that you can help the club. The volunteers are what keeps the club going and without them we have nowhere for the children to enjoy their football.
All players must be registered via this system to enable them to be eligible to play for CVJFC. The system then provides all of the required information for the club admins to get the players registered with the correct team within the club and with the league that they will then play in
Full details can be found on the dedicated webpage which is ht
Despite all of the clubs costs increasing, especially to put winter training on for all, the decision has once again been made to freeze fees for the new season. For any families with 2 or more children playing in teams where we collect a monthly payment, we will once again offer a 30%discount for child 2 (youngest) onwards. Your oldest child will be charged at the full rate.
Players must be registered with leagues by 31st August to guarantee them being eligible to play the first matches of the new season, which will be the weekend of Saturday 9th to Sunday 10th September 2023
Please register your child/children as soon as possible to speed up the league registration process for the club admins. No payments will be taken for the monthly payment plans until 1st September 2023.
If you have any questions or problems with the player registration system please email
darren@cat t erickvillagejfc.net
We thank you all for your support in ensuring this process is complete as quickly as possible.

North Riding County Football Association recently shared the infographic on the next page highlighting this past seasons discipline statistics. It is quite disturbing seeing the results and the age groups where the spectator behaviour received the most charges.
At CVJFCwe have recently promoted 2 new referees that were under the age of 16 and we expect all parents/spectators to respect the referee just as they do their child.
Below is a link to a free online FA course for parents/spectators that introduces them to safeguarding It would be great if all of our parents/spectators were to complete the course and understand what behaviour we at CVJFCand the FA expects whilst we are on the sidelines watching our children play. The course takes 30 minutes.

We are pleased to have been recognised by the North Riding County Football Association as one of the first clubs to have taken part in their Mental Health Champions Programme
NRCFA explains more about the programme. "At North RidingFAwebelievethat football doesnot onlypositivelyimpact our physical health and fitness, it certainlyalso improvesmental wellbeing. Weall haveour own level of mental health, just aswedo for our physical health and with thepronounced impact of the pandemicon people?soverall wellness, we believethisisan opportune timefor everystakeholder in our countyto payjust as much attention to their mental fitnessastheir physical fitness.

NRCFA has committed to funding one person per affiliated club to enable clubs to appoint a Mental Health Champion with a recognised qualification and our Child Welfare Officer, Liz has recently successfully completed the training course, alongside Maggie (Secretary) and Ross (U10 Panthers).
Our annual presentation day was held on Saturday 24th September attracting a record turnout of players, parents, friends and family to enjoy football, burgers, ice-cream and of course, prize giving.
With a vast array of raffle prizes on offer, there was something for everyone hoping to have purchased a winning ticket. Funds raised would contribute towards kit and equipment for our newly formed "Roses" all girls section.
As is tradition with this event, the coaches v players matches pitched each squad in 15 minute games against their mentors that in some instances were more competitive than expected, certainly for some of the coaches at perhaps (ahem!) the later age range.
Results:
Coaches v U12 0-3
Coaches v U13 1-7
Coaches v U14 2-1
Coaches v U15 3-0
Coaches v U16 1-0
Hopefully, despite some of the results, the kids enjoyed showing off their skills learnt throughout the season.
This year was our biggest Presentation Day yet, with over 250 trophies purchased to ensure that all within the club who had played a part this season were rewarded for their efforts
A huge thank you to all who helped prepare for the day and especially to those who were there at the end to tidy up.
With the first Roses training sessions underway, North Riding County FA has approved our application to become a Squad Girls provider, opening the door to funding opportunities for our girls section, along with some free training equipment.
Created by England Football to bridge the gap between Weetabix Wildcats and Snickers Protein Just Play, Squad Girls?Football provides girls wanting to get involved in football with the opportunity to do so, through the provision of a local recreational offer.
Catering for all abilities and focusing on more than just the game itself, Squad Girls?football centres around having fun and making friends, as well as building core skills both on and off the pitch
Sessions focus on everything from building confidence and learning key leadership skills, to perfecting basic passing and dribbling techniques.
What?s more, Squad Girls?football sessions are extremely flexible and have been set up to allow those participating to have a say in what activities they partake in and how the sessions are run.
Additionally, all coaches delivering the sessions must have attended Squad specific training, which centres around how to make sure the needs and preferences of girls within this age bracket are catered for, to ensure a safe and comfortable space for them to enjoy football.
To find out more or to book a session visit the England Football website at: https://www.englandfootball.com/play/youth-football/Squad-Girls-Football
This Summer saw the formation of Catterick Village Roses, a junior section of the club exclusively for girls. The club has considered the introduction of all girls football in it's development plan but it had not been in a position to do so while the club was growing and developing, until now.
It was while in Spain that the U16 squad coaches discussed (over a pint or two!) what could be next for the club in terms of its development, and inspiration was taken from the amount of girls teams from all over Europe that had entered the Costa Duarada Cup tournament, and that this should be the next step for CVJFC
Following extensive research into the opportunities for girls to play football in the Richmondshire area, it was apparent that there was insufficient opportunities for girls to give football a try.
Most existing offers for girls football are pitched at the younger age groups and form part of the FA Wildcats programme. There are very few opportunities offered for girls from the age of 12 upwards so this is where the initial offering by CVJFCwas focused, hoping to give girls already in the younger squads of the club an opportunity to continue when they get older and feel they don't want to play in a mixed team anymore.
Sessions will run on Monday & Thursday evenings 6pm - 7.30pm at the sports field.
When it comes to demonstrating the club ethos of "fun and football in a safe environment" our young squads have certainly enjoyed themselves over the 22/23 season! Hard work and dedication brings its rewards and so it has proved with some of our recent successes.
Our U9 Panthers ran out 4-0 winners in this seasons red league cup final while the Jaguars triumphed in the blue league cup.
Congratulations to both squads, your coaches and club are rightly proud of you!
You can read more by visiting the respective squad pages later in the newsletter.
With a record of 13 wins, 3 draws and 0 losses, our U14's were emphatic in the league this season as their domination brought home the league title. Scoring 85 goals and conceding just 26 demonstrates the consistency and level of performance that the squad has shown from start to finish.
Congratulations to all and here's to another successful season as U15's!
Despite some outstanding performances and displaying a high level of consistency in the league this season, our U13's missed out on the league title by just 4 points, with CVJFCand the eventual winners both taking points off each other The squad go again this September as U14's and are looking forward to going one better this season. Best of luck to all! You can read more by visiting the U13 & U14 squad pages later in the newsletter

The Cat t erick Village Sport s Associat ion (CVSA) is a charitable body responsible for the management and maintenance of the Sports Fields and Pavilion in Catterick Village.
The CVSA is made up of local junior and senior sports teams and volunteers from the local community.
Catterick Village Sports Association (CVSA) was formed over 20 years ago in 1996 when plans were first put together to replace the rotting old wooden huts that were used for the Youth Club and as changing rooms for the sports teams with a proper purpose built building. The sports field at that time was owned and maintained by the District Council who declared that as part of the agreement to let the building proceed that the future maintenance and upkeep of the ground would have to be through a nominated party within the village This was originally the Parish Council with the Sports Association formed to manage the facility on their behalf.
The Sports Association originally consisted of members of the Senior and Junior Football Clubs, the Cricket Club and representatives of the Parish Council. The responsibility and lease for the field was then transferred entirely to the Sports Association, who had become a registered charity, when the field was extended in 2009.
If you are interested in volunteering with the CVSA to help with the upkeep of the facility, please email details to info@cat t erickvillage-sport s.org.uk

June 2023 saw the formation of Catterick Village Roses, a section that belongs exclusively to girls who want to play football with like minded team mates.
With the assistance of existing U17 coaches, Playmaker qualified U17 players, and ably supported by parent volunteer Emma, our first open training session was a resounding success with 22 girls of varying experience and ability coming along to see what Catterick Village could offer in terms of coaching, football training, friendship and most of all, fun!
With some absences due to holidays we were pleased to see so many girls return for the second session and embrace a challenging circuit of exercises designed to improve ball control, that would culminate in a shot at goal and encouragement to celebrate as if they had just scored the winner for the Lionesses in the World Cup Final! Some of the girls were definitely more enthusiastic than others!"
A brand new badge has been designed for the Roses, incorporating a yellow rose to signify "friendship" and will be proudly displayed on all teamwear, and club communications
Our free training sessions for the girls will continue throughout the Summer and, subject to numbers, we will take a decision whether to register a girls team to a league for the very first time. For further information about the Roses or Squad Girls please email: roses@cat t erickvillagejfc net
Shortly after creating the Roses section, we were approached by a group of ladies wanting to join CVJFCafter seeing everything that we were doing for the creation of a female section at the club. They believed in everything that was talked about and wanted to be onboard with us from the start.
Discussions progressed very quickly, as did their numbers and it was agreed that a taster session for a ladies team would be held. With the team of ladies that were in agreement to join us and the extra ladies that turned up on the evening it was obvious that this was something that could happen.
With the backing of the club MCand the quick work to get the team affiliated, we are now proud to say that for the first time in our history we have an all female squad at Catterick Village!!
The ladies team will play in the Durham County Women's League with games played on Sunday afternoons. This is a huge step for the club but more importantly it provides a pathway to ladies football for the girls in the Village teams and those joining the Roses section.
It also gives the club the chance to invest in some female coaches within the family who can then help progress the Roses section to its full potential.
To think that this all started over a beer only 4 months ago in Spain!!
For details on this new Roses Ladies team, either come down to training 19:30-20:30 at the sports field on Tuesdays, or email
rosesladies@cat t erickvillagejfc.net
So much has happened for the U15/16 squad it's hard to believe that it all fitted into the one season which has now ended. Starting in September we were in the position of having a squad within the club at this age group for the first time in over a decade. Over 20 players regularly training and being part of match days was a great achievement for all involved over the years.
Fundraising efforts began with many events seeing the squad bag pack at Tesco, dressing up as elves and serving cream teas to name a few. All with the aim of the squad attending a trip to Spain to take part in the Costa Daurada Cup. A first for the club and a huge commitment from the volunteers who worked tirelessly to arrange the trip and sort the fundraising ideas.
The actual trip to Spain will undoubtedly always be the highlight of this season Seeing 19 players bond like they did, play the football that they did against some of the biggest global academies, behave as impeccably as they did and most importantly, just enjoy the whole experience with no negativity during the trip was a pleasure to experience. Whatever happens, those players will always have those memories and it was great that so many parents also attended and experienced this trip. So much so that we are already planning a return in 2025!!!
The season ended after Easter and saw the team finish mid table. A great achievement with half of the squad playing up a year and some great results coming against some extremely good and established U16 teams.
With having a team at this age we also had the boys sitting exams towards the end of season. Hopefully the boys will all get the results that they were aiming for and will go on to do the course that they want to do at college whilst some start apprenticeships.
Finally we saw some of the squad take the first steps into the world of coaching by helping with the newly formed Catterick Village Roses sessions.
Congratulations to the following players who were the award winners at the club Presentation Day.

The CVJFCUnder 13s Finished in 2nd position in the Harrogate and District U13s B League. This has been achieved through hard work in training, teamwork in matches and by following our three Team Core Values. Attitude, Attendance and Effort. By following these core values, we have grown as a Team and the Top 2 Finish at the end of the Season proves that these Values make not only good people but Good Footballers and an excellent TEAM
?Im
The League Table shows how much we?ve improved against other Teams but as a Coach I find greater reward in the improvement the Individual players have made against themselves. The Results matter as it shows the hard work and effort the Players are putting into Training is working and this is satisfying for both the Players and Coaches at CVJFC We have achieved our Team Target of Promotion to Division 1 this year, but I believe the real success this Season is that our Players finished the Season as better footballers and people than they started it
"At t it ude, At t endance and Effort Pays Off w it h Top 2 Finish"
Presentation Day at CVJFCwas a day of celebration, Trophies, Medals, and Enjoyment for all ages but for the CVJFCU13s it was a chance to show some great TEAM Football as they beat the Coaches emphatically 7-1. This glimpse of our TEAM mentality and Football Philosophy combined with our Togetherness as a TEAM was excellent to see as a Coach and is shown again in the Photo of the TEAM. This Togetherness has also been shown in this Transition Period into Under 14s as 19 Players have already re-registered for the 2023-24 Season.
We will continue into the 2023-24 Season with ?Attitude, Attendance and Effort?as our three core values this Season in Training and Squad Match Selection and All Players, Parents and Coaches fully understand these values and success they brought last season in personal player development, TEAM development and Football Match Results.

The U11's finished the season strongly with only one defeat in the last 3 games. As we close down for the season the U11's should be proud of what they have achieved this season with a squad at the beginning was almost brand new, they have formed new friendships and made it work on the pitch also which has shown in their performances with hard work and determination.
To keep the group ticking over we played some out of scope friendlies from different leagues and once again showed a good account of our selves and was highly praised by opposing managers and coaches. The group entered a highly competitive tournament in Darlington and yet again showed great spirit and high performance against some tough opposition and they thoroughly enjoyed themselves, which we can all agree it's what football is about, enjoyment.
Presentation day came, the team really enjoyed the day playing against the coaches in a fun match up to start off with followed by fun and games then concluded with the trophy presentations, which say Most Improved go to Riley, Players player go to Frankie, Coaches player of the year go to Oscar, Parents player of year go to Olivia, and Sportsman of the year go to Kaiden Olivia also received a special recognition award for her contribution over the year.
Me and Ryan would like to say a well down to the individuals who received the recognition for their efforts but also a well done to the team because without the team around them they wouldn't be possible for the individual recognition. Well done all!
We would also like to thank our sponsors and most of all the parents who have supported the U11' Coaching staff for their continued support they've shown, thank you. We look forward for next season to do it all again as the U12's.
Congratulations to the following players who were the award winners at the club Presentation Day.

Another season of football has passed and all of our players have demonstrated great character throughout which Paul, John and I are very proud of It is fantastic to see genuine friendships and bonds forming across the team; players genuinely support each other on and off the pitch. They all earnt and deserved their squad trophies, well done
It was a great day and after 6 hours(!) worth of football the coaches were delighted to finish with a match vs the U10swho were raring to beat us..? Congratulations to the individual award winners on the day:

It is with sadness that we say farewell to several members of the team this season due to either family moves or opportunities to play elsewhere. As the team are so close, you will all be missed and warmly welcome back to play, train or just catch up with us anytime you wish to Thank you for all you have given to the team and we wish you every success and happiness in your football journeys:
- Gabriel t he Gladiat or
- Henry t he Hero
- Rocket -foot Rose
John has been an integral part of the coaching team with us for several years. Having stepped in to help Paul with 20+ players one cold Tuesday evening whilst James was away, he immediately got the bug for coaching and the world class banter... John is popular and respected by the whole squad and brings a genuine joy to everything he does (sometimes to the detriment of the need for ?focus?!) - well that is what football should be about. From all of the players, Paul and James - thank you Big Man! We are gutted to be losing you from our coaching team (for now) and wish you enjoyment and success with your own U9 team for 23/24.
Transit ion t o U11s. The exciting transition to U11s, 9 a side football, in larger goals and on larger pitches in the Harrogate District League, awaits. Paul and James are excited for the new opportunities and challenges that this will bring the squad. We will continue to emphasise the importance of ?Attitude, Effort, Respect and Pride?in the squad. Here?s to an exciting and enjoyable 23/24 season!
The CVJFCU9 Jaguars have had a fantastic season again, as a team they have been displaying all of the clubs values and ethos and are an absolute joy to coach.
There?s a number of different things that we?ve worked on through the season like spacial awareness, movement, passing, shielding the ball and individual ball work, all while using fun and enjoyable ways for the whole team to develop.
All this has reflected on the pitch on Saturday mornings with the whole team putting in some fantastic displays while maintaining the main aim, which is having smiling faces throughout the team, the progress that each individual has made through the season really is phenomenal and it?s an honour to be part of their junior football journey
This team goes from strength to strength and the togetherness they show is brilliant to see.
There were fantastic performances throughout the season which finished with the team winning the league cup for the second year running, along with 3 other tournament wins.
We?re looking forward to carrying this into next season, where we?ll be competing in the Harrogate U11s league
In the last newsletter we talked about how extremely proud the Panthers were for reaching the League Cup final, well this edition we can take that level of pride and times it by a hundred. After a couple of weeks preparation, the Panthers travelled to the cup final with a mixture of nerves and excitement The nerves soon left as we took a 1-0 lead within the first couple of minutes. The boys went onto dominate the final and came away with an outstanding 4-0 cup final triumph As a coach I was bursting with pride as the boys received their medals and as a collective lifted the trophy. The trophy was taken by all the boys to their respected Schools for a well-deserved show and tell
Sunday 2nd of July seen the whole team complete their 5km sponsored run around Catterick Village A massive thank you to everyone who sponsored and supported the boys on their efforts. The total raised by the 11 boys was £1757, this will now allow us to purchase club training kits, tracksuits and rain jackets, allowing the boys to wear the club badge with pride
The Panthers have now transitioned into the Under 10 age group, where we now continue to develop our footballing skills towards the new season with our weekly training sessions, friendly fixtures and local tournaments.
The U8?s rounded last season off with a league tournament at Richmond. Both did very well in the group stages but just missed out on the semi-finals
We have obviously moved to U9?s over the summer. U9?s matches will be 7v7 on a much larger pitch so we will be focusing on some positioning work and utilising space We have several friendlies booked in for the return from a well-deserved break.
The Panthers will remain in the Hambleton & Richmondshire Junior Football League (Saturday fixtures) and the Jaguars will move to the Harrogate & District Football League (Sunday fixtures). Both leagues will be good tests for the teams and we look forward to receiving the fixtures in the next few weeks.
Unfortunately, we have said goodbye to two popular members of the team as they have moved away Big thanks to Louie and Rory for their efforts over the past few years and your new teams will be very fortunate to have you. Although it was sad to say goodbye to them, they left with big smiles on their faces after receiving a new Champions League ball and a big bag of sweets!!
We have welcomed a couple of new faces so our numbers are still very strong, even with the new 7v7 format.
Another thanks to Adam who coached the Panthers last season. Adam decided to step back and return to watching George I?m sure he will still help getting the goals out and putting them back (HINT HINT)!!!!!
As Adam steps aside, we give a big welcome to John Drury (Reuben D?s dad) who steps in to coach the panthers. John has been coaching the U10?s (now U11?s) for the past few seasons so comes with plenty of experience and a great attitude which will no doubt see the team thrive. Big thanks to John for stepping up to help out.
Looking forward to the season ahead!!!

At the start of July, our U9 squads took part in a 5k run to raise funds towards the purchase of some new squad jackets. The route start and finish was at the pavilion and involved a run in and around the village, culminating in a lap around the entirety of the sports field.
Players, coaches and parent volunteers successfully completed the course and in doing so raised a fantastic £1757 towards their new jackets!
A huge well done to all the boys for such a fantastic effort from everyone at CVJFC!
You can read more about the U9 squads on their dedicated pages in the newsletter.

Michael Syddall CofEAided Primary School recently announced that they have WON the English School's Football Association Reward and Recognition Team Award for their Girls Football Team. This is a huge achievement and we are incredibly proud of our girls, the effort they have put in and the progress they have made Thank you so much to everyone for the support they have shown and to everyone who has voted.
"The commitment to play football from the girls at Michael Syddall Primary School saw their football group grow from 6 members in September to over 25 players training weekly, thanks to the girls recruiting their friends With two teams, they have played 19 matches this season, lost none and 86 goals scored! The individual and team progress has been wonderful and the girls' desire to play more football has seen them seek out further opportunities"
CVJFCare proud of the girls (some of whom represent CVJFC) and the school for all that they have achieved, especially in raising the opportunity for girls to play football in school

Come rain or shine, if you're at the playing fields on Saturday mornings, you're more than likely to see Bob Thornton paying his regular visit to players and coaching staff, and having a chat with parents and volunteers.
Bob is a stalwart of our club and has been for many years, fulfilling many roles and currently assisting as one of our Child Welfare Officers. Earlier this year he was recognised by the NRCFA for his services to grassroots football with a #fortheloveofthegame award.
Bob recently sent us this story that we thought was too good not to share......
It hasbeen quiteenlighteningto read thearticles, listen to thefeedback and speakto theparticipantsof theU16?sground breakingtrip to Spain and theCosta Daurada Cup.
Theorganisation and preparation of thetrip isa credit to all those involved and thetrip will livelongin thememoriesof all thosewho took part.
Listeningto all thetalesbrought backmemoriesof thedayswhen theclub wasin it?searlydaysand thehighlight of theend of season wasa coach trip to Wembleyto seetheEngland schoolboysinternational.
Thiswasin thedayswhen much lessemphasiswasplaced on parental numbersand so weboldlyset off with a coach full of youngplayersand a handful of volunteer parentson our end of season dayout.
Thecoach full of lessthan quiet youngsterstravelled ?blissfully?down the M1 to our first stop at Watford Gap ServiceArea onlyto find that another 20-30 coachesfull of similar partieswerealso makingthesamestop and theplacewasfull of around another 400-500 aspiringyoungfootballers. So with themessageof ?thisisour coach, don? t forget?and considerable concern wejoined thethrong.
Thankfullytheyall safelynavigated thestop and wetravelled on ?quietly?to our destination at WembleyStadium to join hundredsof other similar coach parties. On arrival weall found a small area to sit and haveour packed luncheswhen oneof theplayersapproached stating, 'Bob , I haven? t anylunch?"Did you not bringa packed lunch asasked?"
"Yes, but I haveeaten it on thebusand there?snothingleft"wasthe innocent reply.
Oncesorted (and out of pocket!) wethen moved to thestadium and had a great afternoon celebratinga win for theEngland Boysalongwith about another 30,000 high pitched voicesshoutingout.
Wethen miraculouslyquicklyfound our coach and werejust about to be oneof thefirst coachesto set off when wefound we had someone missing. Nightmare!!With theinstructionsfor everyone to remain on the coach I set off with much trepidation to begin thesearch and fortunately found a steward who guided metowardsthemissingpersonsroom the sizeof a gym and full of ,"missing"youngsters. Fortunewason our side that dayand I managed to spot our "missing"player and wecould then travel backafter ?Adayto remember?for all of us.
