The U8?s rounded last season off with a league tournament at Richmond. Both did very well in the group stages but just missed out on the semi-finals

We have obviously moved to U9?s over the summer. U9?s matches will be 7v7 on a much larger pitch so we will be focusing on some positioning work and utilising space We have several friendlies booked in for the return from a well-deserved break.

The Panthers will remain in the Hambleton & Richmondshire Junior Football League (Saturday fixtures) and the Jaguars will move to the Harrogate & District Football League (Sunday fixtures). Both leagues will be good tests for the teams and we look forward to receiving the fixtures in the next few weeks.

Unfortunately, we have said goodbye to two popular members of the team as they have moved away Big thanks to Louie and Rory for their efforts over the past few years and your new teams will be very fortunate to have you. Although it was sad to say goodbye to them, they left with big smiles on their faces after receiving a new Champions League ball and a big bag of sweets!!

We have welcomed a couple of new faces so our numbers are still very strong, even with the new 7v7 format.

Another thanks to Adam who coached the Panthers last season. Adam decided to step back and return to watching George I?m sure he will still help getting the goals out and putting them back (HINT HINT)!!!!!

As Adam steps aside, we give a big welcome to John Drury (Reuben D?s dad) who steps in to coach the panthers. John has been coaching the U10?s (now U11?s) for the past few seasons so comes with plenty of experience and a great attitude which will no doubt see the team thrive. Big thanks to John for stepping up to help out.

Looking forward to the season ahead!!!
