Come rain or shine, if you're at the playing fields on Saturday mornings, you're more than likely to see Bob Thornton paying his regular visit to players and coaching staff, and having a chat with parents and volunteers.

Bob is a stalwart of our club and has been for many years, fulfilling many roles and currently assisting as one of our Child Welfare Officers. Earlier this year he was recognised by the NRCFA for his services to grassroots football with a #fortheloveofthegame award.

Thiswasin thedayswhen much lessemphasiswasplaced on parental numbersand so weboldlyset off with a coach full of youngplayersand a handful of volunteer parentson our end of season dayout.
