FOREWORD

Having highlighted all the positive news to follow, it saddens me to have to place this within the foreword, but it is absolutely necessary. We are facing a persistent spate of vandalism and abuse of club facilities (see the photos below). The club works hard to diligently invest your player?s fees into equipment in a sustainable way - it is heartbreaking to see equipment that has been bought at great expense by the club, built and maintained by volunteers, only to be abused and destroyed by thoughtless youths on the sports fields.

With use of the new and enhanced CCTVcapability at the sports fields and pavilion, this activity will be captured and if it continues to occur, be used to support the CVSA in taking formal action with the Police Please support us as a community organisation in ensuring that this does not happen.

Looking forward, in a matter of weeks the new season will be upon us, along with a busy schedule of Club activities on and off the football pitch. I hope you all (players, guardians, volunteers and coaches) have a fantastic and enjoyable season May football continue to be a positive influence in bringing us together, fostering team work and developing the whole person, regardless of age!
