As part of Altrad’s environmental strategy, Altrad measures, minimizes and reports on its organisational environmental footprint, including undertaking rigorous annual measurement and third-party verification of emissions. Altrad’s reporting includes absolute emissions and intensity metrics by scope, by source and by region, compares performance to previous reporting periods and tracks progress against targets accordingly. You can help with this journey by taking the following actions: 1. Fuel for transport is Altrad’s largest emissions source. Do you really need to make the journey? Can you meet remotely? Can you share a lift? Can you use public transport? 2. If you do need to drive ensure you drive efficiently; avoid harsh accelerating and braking and never leave a vehicle idling. Use electric or low emission vehicles wherever feasible. 3. Use resources sparingly and reuse materials wherever possible. 4. Switch of lights and equipment when not in use. 5. Avoid the use of single use plastics/items and ensure material is segregated for recycling.
