Environmental Responsibility and Sustainability

Altrad Services takes the commitment made in its overarching QHSE Policy to protecting the environment, preventing pollution and ensuring energy is consumed as efficiently as is reasonably practicable very seriously.

We are dedicated to limiting any environmental impact we have on our surroundings and ensuring that our business is the sector leader in sustainability – from reusing materials right through to developing and embracing new technologies. From an individual perspective, it is important that you follow the environmental requirements set in various policies and procedures found in our management system – which is certified to ISO14001 (Environmental Management) and ISO5001 (Energy Management). Day to day you must ensure that you endeavour to minimise waste creation and look to recycle as much as possible in the first instance. It is important that waste and recyclables are disposed of in the correct receptacle. When machines and electronic equipment are not being used then these must be switched off to help reduce the amount of energy we consume. We actively work with the regulatory bodies and 3rd party organisations such to limit our impact on the environment and are always open to suggestions on how we can improve this.
