Et utvalg av de mest utsøkte og ettertraktede spillefilmene fra den internasjonale arenaen konkurrerer om Auroraprisen. Blant disse filmene kårer Aurora-juryen en vinnerfilm som vil bli distribuert på norske kinoer. Alle filmene i konkurranseprogrammet har sin norske premiere under Tromsø Internasjonale Filmfestival 2011. An exclusive selection of feature films from the international arena compete for the Aurora Prize. Among these films, the Aurora jury selects the film they think most deserves Norwegian distribution. All the films will have their Norwegian premiere at Tromsø International Film Festival 2011.
