Ed’s Letter This issue of Supernal is, like virtually every issue, an eye opener. Imagine realising that we have been following the Gregorian calendar for our entire life, then learning how damaging and controlling those numbers and dates are in our everyday lives? Then imagine finding out there is a Time, Space Frequency that that allows you to live your truth, and provides you with the tools to enjoy life like never before? Welcome to the 13:20 Dreamspell and the Galactic Calendar – the Law of Natural Time! Our Content Editor, ShirleySienna, introduced me to the Dreamspell and the Galactic Calendar many years ago. Over the years, I have allowed myself to drift in and out of its message. I have helped people decode their Kin during readings and use it for future event planning. However, while I love what it represents, I am not a devotee or even claim to understand just how rich and empowering the Law of Time, and the Dreamspell is. Who is Dr José Argüelles/Valum Votan? What is the Day of Time all about? What is the Harmonic Convergence, what is a Galactic Signature (Kin Number) and what is a ‘Galactic Activation portal’? To find out all this, Supernal interviewed several phenomenal people who

The link to Australia is of enormous importance to José’s latter work, the Cosmic History Chronicles and the incoming global calendar shift of 21:12. José passed away at his home near Daylesford in Victoria, Australia, in 2011. Stephanie’s story with ShirleySienna is a must read starting on Page 20. There is a short video introducing Stephanie on Page 23. Following that, we interviewed Eden Sky of Sky Time on Page 24. Eden is gorgeously unique and passionate about helping people understand the basics of the Dreamspell for people to start walking through the door into another way of thinking about time. Eden and her whole family put together the Galactic Calendar every year; in fact, Eden has been doing that for over 25 years. She is as excited about it now as when she started. Eden’s link with José and the evolution his work, is also very profound. There’s a video with Eden explaining the calendar on Page 26.

Northern Rivers NSW –Woodburn By Hollie Mariconte After being hit by two floods, facing months of grey skies and wet weather, four months later we can see the towns of Northern Rivers have made some progress. Woodburn was severely affected by these floods. A town of hundreds of houses; there were only five or six that were not damaged. Some residents have made progress at home with the approval of claims by their insurance companies; others unfortunately remain as empty shells. The hard reality is that people cannot afford to rebuild immediately. They will chip away one task at a time. Michelle and her mother Pat, residents of Woodburn sadly lost both their houses as the floods came through. When Pat was told that she would be evacuated, she packed a suitcase to spend the night, and she did not think the floods would come up to the second story. In a last-minute decision she grabbed the ashes of her husband and son, and how fortunate that she did. There was nothing salvageable in Pat’s house except a rose bush she bought to remember her

husband. It sat in its pot on the balcony covered with swamp water - it is still alive. It was a beautiful message of hope for Pat to continue and stay strong. For Michelle, the pain of the floods has not yet caught up, as she still mourns the loss of her father who unfortunately passed away shortly before the floods hit. Many other family members have also been affected by the floods, it’s very difficult to rebuild with so many of them in the same boat.

“The Woodburn Hub has been a fantastic base for all the people in the town. They are able to register for caravans and many other services.” Fortunately, Michelle and Pat had put their names on a list with Resilience NSW to receive Caravans so they could park in their yards while trying to rebuild. These caravans will make the construction process easier for the two, being closer to home. There’s also comfort in knowing home is right there.

news The Woodburn Hub has been a fantastic base for all the people in the town. They are able to register for caravans and many other services. The volunteers at the hub work hard with external organisations to provide the town with food, clothing, furniture and essential items to regain some form of normality back.

Krystal, who is one of the hub coordinators, has become a role of event coordinator, manager and councillor since volunteering in the hub four months ago. She described the Hub as an escape for people saying that a happy and positive atmosphere assists in keeping the community in high spirits. Krystal said: “People feel

more than 76 of the properties in the area, plus some 40 leases and their office that was located in Lismore. Fortunately, they were able to resettle all their tenants to some of their other vacant properties and emergency housing after this disaster. North Coast Community housing has paired up with Resilience Australia to build temporary villages for floodaffected residents. All available crown land in the region has been assessed and selected for these village locations. To date, there will be up to nine sites that will be managed by community housing providers in several locations, with more possibilities to be added in the coming weeks. Supporting up to 25,000 households with the 350 million dollars invested in temporary modular homes. The Wollongbar site, just outside Lismore, currently houses 35 residents in the 25 Minderoo pods donated by Andrew Forrest Minderoo, and a number of 1-bedroom residential modules renovated by Cessnock correction services. Hutchinson builders have also jumped on board to help build modular houses. Eventually there will be up to 256 modular homes available at this site, which will also include two or three bedrooms, as at this time the village is currently only able to accommodate singles or couples. NCCH has staff and case workers on site 7-days a

week who work hard to create a village atmosphere and community among the residents. In the hope of facilitating their transition by involving them in activities similar to those preceding the floods, they have also created an ‘Extra Village’ newsletter that comes out every week. This contains updates on the village, what’s happening around town and recipes to inspire different ways of cooking in small quarters. However, there are still many displaced post flood families living in tents and trying to survive with the options that are available to them. For Woodburn resident Shane McIntyre, living in a ‘tent city’ on his friend’s property with his three children is his only option at this point. After losing his rental in the floods, his wife recently had a breakdown due to stress and flood traumas. Shane is now unemployed and taking care of his 12, 14 and 4-yo alone. He hopes with time that an affordable rental will become available. He is currently looking for more stable and affordable accommodation to put on his friend’s property. There is light at the end of the tunnel for some residents of these towns – sadly the nightmare will continue for many people for years to come. Queensland Chief Health Officer admits in FOI that ‘vaccinated’ individuals are driving Covid infection rates By Ari Williams - June 14, 2022

On Friday, Senator Gerard Rennick posted a ‘Freedom of Information’ (FOI) release on Facebook that was shared with him earlier in the week. In the release Queensland’s Chief Health

Officer (CHO) John Gerard admits vaccine efficacy wanes after six months, and states that, as a result the benefit of the exclusion of unvaccinated people is no longer justifiable. AFL Solicitors Update By Anthony Kilner

Following on from our interview with Tony Nikolic from AFL Solicitors in our huge Self-Vactualisation Issue - July 2021, we caught up for an update. It’s been a huge year of understanding Human Rights, mandates and treachery! We have seen a change of government, human rights violations around country and more since we spoke. What’s been happening since then? “It’s been a challenging time for us all with disproportionately hard lockdowns. Given the extent of current scientific knowledge compared to what we knew then, it wasn’t a deadly enough virus to lock down people. We said that from the start. Of course, any

“Someone, somewhere, needs to be accountable for all the decisions made. This must be done compassionately as it’s not about casting blame, more about healing our society. This can only be achieved through accountability and acknowledgment of wrong doing. They must understand that peoples’ lives are being affected; suicides, domestic violence and growing poverty, in what we refer to as the ‘shadow pandemic’. “Due to the over-reach response to the virus, people have been unable to access breast screening, receive cancer screening, denied access to their cardiologist and to medical and mental health professionals. The result was many more people dying from the inability to access those vital services, than those that died from Covid.

“Now, that is disproportionate. Yes, there is a risk of transmission of Covid as evidenced in Kasaam Supreme Court case, now to go before the High Court. In that case, expert Dr Kristine McCartney acknowledged that the vaccines do not stop transmission or contraction of the virus. That being said, the whole premise from the Health Department was ‘get vaccinated’ to stop you catching it. This slowly transitioned in the narrative of the politicians and the media to; “it doesn’t stop you transmitting it, or getting it, but it’s less severe’. But how do the mainstream media and health bureaucrats measure severity? We know the PCR test had high rates of false positives and quite frankly was not designed for this purpose. The PCR test was another socially constructed medical apparatus that was not fit for purpose, but for some reason people lined up to be tested and still do it today. “Yet they are saying so many people are dying, well more

I can’t call it a vaccine, because if it doesn’t stop you contracting it, doesn’t stop you transmitting it, then it’s not a vaccine!” When we were kids my understanding was that a vaccine stopped us getting the disease as well as spreading it? “That’s always been the premise, yes. That tells you there is something wrong with this one; I fail to understand how it’s even termed a vaccine. On the one hand, the very premise upon which we locked down society is ‘We can’t go into hospitals transmitting it, we can’t go into aged care settings because of the risk’, yet giving the vaccine to the aged care sector, knowing that it doesn’t stop it being transmitted and knowing that it sheds, is potentially creating the problem. “On the other hand, we have Professor McCartney’s testimony that the state had received in excess of $65 million for vaccine research in 18 months in and around that period. This was also reported in the Kassam judgement.

causing long-lasting effects. “With a massive trillion dollars plus debt, people unable to find work and can’t be up skilled due to lack of credentials, this a real economic concern for this country. The main point though is it has been created by the lack of due diligence by medical bureaucrats, again evidenced in the Kassam case. “According to Wilson Sy in his latest pre-print journal titled: A statistical evaluation of COVID-19 injections for safety and effectiveness in the New South Wales epidemic, it was stated that up till 23 February 2021, when mass COVID injection started, the NSW cumulative total cases and COVID deaths were 5,154 and 54 respectively. Since then, by 22 May 2022 (end of data period), the tally has increased to 2.5 million cases and 3,052 deaths. That is, mass injection of over 18 million doses have seen a 487-fold increase in cases and 57-fold increase in deaths, despite the period with mass injection (453 days) having

“We need to understand a few things. We put forward primary data evidence, not secondary data from a journal, to the court collated by Dr Brian Tyson, a highly experienced frontline American doctor. We presented 6000 named patient records in fact, 3000 vaxxed and 3000 un-vaxxed, which he treated using complimentary treatments, not vaccines. “Out of the 6000, only four passed away and they had very advanced underlying symptoms. Complementary, well known antiviral treatments saved the rest, yet that information was deemed unimpressive by the courts. They then preferenced Prof McCartney, who is an advisor to the government on Covid planning, treatment and management and therefore deemed to be impressive, yet when asked how many Covid patients she had treated, she replied NONE! Despite this, the courts found her evidence as being more impressive than Doctors who had saved thousands of lives! “So, here we are. We are appealing in the High Court; however, I am concerned that the evidence of the court will veer towards secondary tertiary data rather than primary data as primary evidence is now driven by interest groups manufacturing a consensus by using tactics such as ghost

“If you look at the Biosecurity (Human Biosecurity Emergency) (Human Coronavirus with Pandemic Potential) Declaration 2020 was made under section 475 of the Biosecurity Act 2015 (Cth)., it states ‘if there are no other medications or vaccines on the market, you have to keep the State of Emergency. However, the vaccines have been on the market nearly a year and yet we still have lockdowns. There have been antivirals and treatments on the markets for decades, so why the emergency, unless you wanted to test a new untested jab.” The protests have been huge; the media are not covering them. You wouldn’t know there were still protests going on in Melbourne trying to save the state which is in such trouble.

In Canberra we had close to 500,000 people protesting, that would be like 1 in 10? It wasn’t reported on properly. “We delivered that letter in Parliament. Graciously Craig Kelly took a group of us into Parliament to deliver a letter to Scott Morrison and the ministers. Nothing was done other to say acknowledge its receipt. I wrote that letter to Brad Hazzard on 7 July 2021 and he did not respond! Craig Kelly, Senator Malcolm Roberts, Gerard Rennick, Alex Antic, Pauline Hanson, Reverend Fred Nile, they all acknowledged there were point to seriously consider.” What is happening about that? “Fortuitously, last night I was called in to the Senate here in NSW Parliament to listen to a couple of debates. I was invited by the Rev Nile on an aboriginal Cultural Heritage Bill that was being proposed and a significant one looking into the disproportionate powers explaining why we had to lockdown and arrest people. “One of the cases I won recently was in Seven Hills in Western Sydney, where young

kids were pepper sprayed by police for allegedly not wearing a mask and not producing an exemption certificate. They charged and threw people around like rag dolls; this was sheer violence and I have that footage. The most disturbing part was the Police were not wearing masks either, but the fact that such violence was used resembled a paramilitary organisation, not community policing with a focus on safety.” I’ve seen some of that footage and of people getting shot on the streets of Melbourne. “Yes. It was similar force!” Of course they are exempt? “There’s exemption for some, but the virus is like a bullet; it is indiscriminate hitting wherever it lands, destroying whatever is in its path. So, at the time when everyone was being mandated, politicians and some other sections of society were not. This was never about a virus.” We have been looking at discrimination, in the workplace. It seems that when you work for a Government Department that could be damaged by you being vaccinated or even talking about it, you don’t have to be vaccinated! “One of the most diabolical things I’ve seen is that even with an adverse reaction to the vaccine, you still had to

get your second dose. They claim it is for your health, but mandate the injection despite it causing you an injury. Again, the people of Australia are research participants and unless they take the jab, they lose their livelihoods.” Exactly this is another issue I’m seeing more and more, where people are actually getting sick, constantly sick, after their second and third jab, just to stay in their jobs. “They are very good at word smithing; it’s what we call ghost writing. That again is in my International Handbook of Whistleblowing Research, chapter 16. I wrote then how clinical trials were conducted, how they manufacture consensus, how clinical trials have been the subject of fraud and false claims by the FBI Dept of Justice in the USA. “Here in Australia those very same drugs are sold and no one says a thing. So, tie that into your Greg Hunt statement ‘This is the world’s biggest clinical trial’ and tie that into the fact that people are getting adverse events, yet they still need to take another one. The simple truth is we are being mandated to be a lab rat.” So, the main thing is getting crowd acknowledgment in the background so they know nothing is gone away or changed. People think the mandates have all gone, yet they haven’t. “We really need nail it down. It is important that people write to their Law Societies in each

State or Territory and demand ‘Where are the Human Rights Lawyers? You have let us down. Just because we don’t want the vaccine, doesn’t mean you don’t represent us.’ Also, the judges need to be aware, that if we make a choice and it’s an informed choice, it must not be disregarded. “A Human Rights lawyer needs to work on human rights, not on what is popular. There have been a few select firms leading the charge but everyone else is saying “No.” People are waking up to the fact though that nothing will change until the Law and Bar Societies are pressured by the public, demanding representation. We are the community, and you’re a part of our community! “Remember one of the primary roles of lawyers and courts is their duty to the community. Many lawyers, me included, do pro bono due to their loyalty to the community. There are people that just can’t afford it, they’re sick; they have mental health issues, many reasons. “When 500,000 people rock up to Canberra, that’s 500,000 concerned people, who actually made the effort to express their views. They need to spread that word to the Human Rights Lawyers!”

essence of everything is frequency codes – numbers, symbols and harmonic cycling. People’s minds are so out of order right now, and the thirteen moon calendar is key to bringing us into alignment – a simple way to organise time, and information coherently.

I first met Stephanie South in November 2012. I was leading a retreat around the Byron Bay area and attended a weekly astrological group facilitated by Varij Varidium. Stephanie was there as a guest, visiting Lois Hunt, to record a series of radio podcasts before leaving Australia. Red Queen (RQ), as she is also known, was heading to Palenque (Mexico) for the closing of the 26,000 year cycle, which thanks to Hollywood, had the world in a flurry of fear and confusion – ‘21-12!’ Connecting with Stephanie that night and meeting her again back in Melbourne, I gifted her my activated and well-travelled smoky quartz skull, the ‘Illumed One’, which told me in meditation its name was now, ‘Red Rainbow Serpent’ and Stephanie was to take her to Palenque and onward!

I was reading a book I had purchased in Byron before meeting Stephanie and had no inkling of it having anything to do with José Argüelles, until I felt a masculine ‘presence’ suddenly and strongly in my room. I saw a tangible, albeit non solid figure standing there, grey hair, white tunic and pants. He clearly spoke to me telepathically, “in three pages you will read my name in that book.” I felt compelled to turn the pages. The following are the fundamentals of the many discoveries made by Dr José Argüelles / Valum Votan. The 13 Moon calendar is a calendar of peace, the peace that transcends dogma. Just as the law of gravity cannot be seen, neither can the Law of Time (LOT), both are invisible principles fundamental to the universe. As a solar-galactic calendar with a July 26 synchronization date based on the heliacal rising of the star Sirius, the 13 Moon Dreamspell calendar is ultimately a ‘synchronometer’. It attunes us to the synchronic patterns in our daily life. The purpose of the 13 Moon/28day calendar is to help return the Human Mind into the higher cosmic frequency which sustains the Universal Whole, from the bird tribes to Galactic Totality.

Each Moon has 28 days, adding up to 364 days. July 25, the ‘Day Out of Time’, is the day between the end of one year and the beginning of the next. The 13 Moon is a solar-galactic calendar as it synchronises the 260-day Tzolkin cycle with the 365-day solar cycle every 52 years. The 13 Moon/28-day calendar embraces and synchronizes all true calendrical and mathematical systems, from lunar calendars, to the Mayan long count, to the Elder Futhark runes, to the I Ching hexagrams. The Maya used up to 17 calendars at once because their perception of time was not linear rather it was based on synchronisation. The more cycles and systems you can track at once, the more you can observe synchronic overlays. This effectively expands your perception of who you are and what the world is. By learning our Galactic Signature, we start thinking archetypally of our role within the collective rather than individually of the personal. Our Galactic Signature is our password to the fourth dimension; it helps us identify with

The 13 Moon calendar is based on the discovery of the LOT, discovered by Dr José Argüelles in 1989, distinguishing two timing frequencies: the 12:60 and 13:20. The LOT, 12:60 is the frequency of linear, mechanized consciousness. This is ‘artificial time’, whereas13:20 is the frequency of radial, cyclical consciousness - ‘natural time’. The 12:60 frequency keeps us trapped in repeating fear-based time loops. It keeps us in a state of reactiveness rather than reflection. It’s based on the 12-month calendar, 60-minute hour, and is out of synch with nature. This frequency represents fragmented consciousness that makes us perceive people, places, and things as separate from ourselves. The 13:20, by contrast, is the natural timing frequency. It’s the frequency of art, beauty, love, and synchronicity. It’s the frequency of unity, equality, sovereignty and

synchronisation. 13:20 is encoded in our body with our 20 fingers and toes and 13 main articulations: two ankles, two knees, two hips, two elbows, two wrists, two shoulders, and a neck. Argüelles concluded that living out of sync with nature is the root cause of our species’ multiple crisis and dysfunctionality at this time. Not only does it result in wars and destruction of our biosphere, this disconnection results in a loss of collective vision, depression, and feelings of separation from the Greater Whole.

Furthermore, there are 1,320 years from the dedication of the tomb in 692 until 2012, the Closing of the Great Cycle. Dreamspell is not a count of days, it’s a synchronic frame of reference for organizing and identifying the patterns of synchronicity. These Dreamspell codes are incorporated into the 13 Moon Calendar, and are intended to help awaken memory.

From the point of view of the LOT, consensus reality is a function of a type of erroneous thinking that, at its root, creates a fundamental misperception of not only who and what we are it’s what the Earth is and what we are doing on it.

On my own personal journey into the Dreamspell and the Law of Time, I was introduced to the Galactic Calendar that was produced by Eden and Robert Sky. In the process of getting this edition of Supernal sorted, I was honoured to have a chat with Eden about her family’s journey into the Law of Time. What got you into the Law of Time/Galactic Time? “It all started when I was 18, and a friend showed me a mysterious image full of hand-drawn symbols and patterns of colours. I had no idea what it was - I immediately felt an ‘other-worldly presence’ that intrigued me to my core.

Literally, as José taught, mechanical time is the 12:60 timing frequency, and Natural Time is the 13:20 timing frequency. Instead of ‘time is money’, ‘time is art!’ So, ‘every day’ is the ‘art of my life’, in concert with the cycles of the Universe. I start my day by ‘tuning in’ to the Galactic energies, to align my consciousness with this sacred, synchronic order. “Every day within a 52 year span is completely unique,

and it offers simple code words to contemplate. These codes represent different energies, virtues living inside of us that we can resonate with and cultivate. I love this, as by contemplating a simple code I can receive deep self-reflection and vast inspiration. “In other words, instead of today just being Wednesday July 6, 2022, I can realise we are in the 13th month of the Yellow Electric Seed Year. Each of those cycles brings specific significance, and I can also contemplate the specific Galactic Frequency of this day which brings in one of the 13 Tones of Creation, and one of the 20 Glyphs, in this case, codes such as ‘Purification, Flow, Manifestation’. I recite the 5-line Galactic Affirmation to invoke the energy. And the cosmic frosting is tuning in to people in over 90 countries who are also focusing on this same Galactic Frequency united telepathically!” How would you describe The Law of Time to people who have never heard of it? “The Law of Time is a profound, life-changing key that can

transform our reality from the inside out. Most people are completely oblivious to the fact that our sense of time directly affects our minds, and therefore our entire experience of reality. Most people blindly accept artificial, mechanical time as ‘Time’. Most have no idea that our culture is stuck in an old program that offers us only a linear notion of time where every year is just another Gerbil wheel lap around the sun, and every day is just another blank square of the 12-month calendar, set to the pace of the ceaselessly ticking mechanical clock. As José said: “Unconscious acceptance of this 12:60 timing frequency is the single most contributing factor to the problem of human alienation from nature.”

Into The Law of Time By Anthony Kilner

Understanding the Law of Time (LOT) as uncovered and interpreted by José Argüelles also known as Valum Votan, is something that I have been adopting into my life for quite a few years now. Supernal Magazine first came into contact with Deborah Haight back in the March 2021 Issue when we did a book review on The Hierophant- The Return of Memory. At this stage I learned about Deborah’s fascinating connection with José and the Law of Time. As it turns out both her husband Brian, an Engineer and project manager, both are past Board members of the Foundation for the Law of Time and are passionate about José’s work and the continuation of his work. I got to ask them a few questions about their experiences with José and the Law of Time. I’d also like to point out that there is a full bio on José HERE: How did your connection with José come about? “In 1987, Brian and I were living in Houston, Texas and raising four small children. We heard news of José Argüelles calling for a Harmonic Convergence event and we participated in a meditation for peace, the weekend of August 16-17th, 1987. We were vaguely familiar with José Argüelles from his book, Earth Ascending and there was definitely a pull towards his work.

The conversation leaned towards the false timing frequency of the artificial, mechanical clock and how humanity was the only species to operate within a false timing frequency known as 12:60 (twelve hours/sixty minutes), which is connected to the Gregorian calendar system consisting of 12 months with irregular days within each month, meant to confuse people. “While Brian was still at the event, he noticed that his watch just stopped working this was a sign in our opinion, so we followed the trail of synchronicity.”

This was an interesting concept, and one from eras long gone. It made us curious to see if we could implement something of that nature in our own community. We managed to do a little of this with our immediate neighbours, sharing eggs and fibre for milk, baked goods, and fruit. “We also hosted three bioregional summits on behalf of the FLT. People studying the Law of Time came from all over the world with the intention of building relations, exchanging ideas on calendar change, community structure

We had people from Chile, Argentina, and Australia amongst us, to name a few. “We also attended a FLT Leadership conference in Oregon which is where we met Stephanie South for the first time. We hit it off and soon she came to stay with us as we all accomplished our functions on behalf of the Foundation for the Law of Time. Twenty years have now passed and we are still following the Thirteen Moon Calendar and participate in FLT functions. “Over the years José’s work evolved and Stephanie South was chosen to be his apprentice, where they worked on a 7-volume collection called The Cosmic History Chronicles. Deborah responded: “He was someone who gave a new point of view on why we are here on this planet and how we can live a life connected

A New Earth – Now

No Pain, No Gain in Saturn Retrograde By Melanie Dufty

Just when we thought we’d emerged from the tricky eclipses of recent months and intense Mercury retrograde, we now find ourselves in the throes of Saturn retrograde. So what are we dealing with? Starting 4 June at 25 degrees of Aquarius and ending 23 October at 18 Aqua rius, we’re all put through Saturnine boot camp on a foundational area of life, where we have more maturing to do. Saturn is the Lord of Karma and in retrograde motion, presents us with extra opportunities to address our own. The purpose is to help us develop sturdier foundations, boundaries and commitments that serve for the long haul. We’re generally required to take on more responsibility, probably around core life issues such as work and career paths, money and resource

management and boundaries with others. The issues that arise are not new ones, as a planet that’s retrograding, or appears to be moving backwards, digs up the past to give us another shot at progressing towards resolution. We may have thought we were done with a situation and are dismayed to find ourselves back through the wringer for a redo or some finessing. No nonsense Saturn rules boundaries, structure, work, persistence, rules and regulations, restrictions and accountability, so these themes arise in some form. The bottom line is, we are pushed to find more sovereignty based on maturity, both on a collective level and in our personal lives. Whichever house or life realm Saturn in Aquarius is traversing in our natal charts, alongside where our natal Saturn sits, it is getting some tough love to forge the structures that support our more lofty dreams.

Collective Impacts As a transpersonal outer planet that moves slowly and is linked to social patterns and trends, Saturn retrograde in community-minded Aquarius, is steering us toward what’s best for the collective, while honouring the individual within sensible reason. We find ourselves pushed to face where we are going as the human race, what community means and how we’re a part of it and the rightful use of authority versus freedom. On the macro scale, Saturn in Aquarius retrograde is shifting the collective consciousness in some way, perhaps relating to how authority and restrictions (Saturn) interface with the freedom of ‘the people’ (Aquarius). Saturn is transiting Aquarius for about two and a half years, leaving in March 2023, so we’re well into this journey, which began in 2020.

Of course that was the year the COVID situation arose. This continues to propel major societal change, unearthing issues and pushing us to find a way to serve the highest good of the collective and the individuals that compose it, in balance with the need for governance and authority. It’s all very Saturn in Aquarius!

Saturn Means Well Saturn rewards hard work; first demanding to know the price we are willing to pay in facing the music where needed. He cuts things back to what is essential, no frills or fluff. Although Saturn’s influence can feel heavy and despondent, the purpose is to show us the benefit of short term ‘suck it up’ discomfort leading to long term security and success. Think of a tough coach or guru pushing to get more from us and we gain a greater depth of empowerment because of it.

What Happens? Saturn brings situations, people and dynamics that give us an opportunity to make a new choice around an old situation. We can find ourselves forced to readdress boundaries, or reassess the practical path we’re taking, to evaluate if it’s aligned to the goals that really matter. The themes of this retrograde began to rise in late February when Saturn first entered the terrain he’s now traversing. Also, as Mercury went direct the day or so before Saturn turned retrograde; the issues that rose through May might continue developing.

Stick With It This retrograde offers the opportunity to sort ourselves out in some fundamental way. We may realise what we are learning, or need more reflection to see where Saturn is handing out lemons in the hope we’ll make lemonade.

Resistance versus Flow By Dr Catherine Fyans

Resistance is a word that continually crops up of late and, I believe, has both positive and negative connotations, both apt for current times. Resistance implies a force applied against something or an adaptation capacity. It also means a declining, as in resisting temptation; so rather than a full-on force against, it is a stepping aside from whatever enticement is on offer. The paradoxical adage ‘What you resist persists and intensifies’, suggests that if we try to push against or avoid something that we really do not like nor want to engage, we will actually get more of it. Seems unfair.

Some would suggest that our wiser, inner selves chose to have certain life experiences in order to evolve, that perhaps our ego selves would have avoided at all costs. Welcome to Earth school! This implies that if we resist any of our life experiences and all their associated emotions, feelings and ramifications, we are limiting our learning on this Earth plane. This does not at all mean that we hang out with the unwanted; we glean what we need to from the experience, whatever that experience might be, to use the wisdom gained to help forge a better way for ourselves and the collective. We need to engage the experiences to learn from them. Learn what we need to and then move on. We are on the Earth plane in this density, to experience. If we, by our resistance, block

our life experiences, we are blocking the flow of life energy and all its teachings and opportunities for growth. I know this is a stretch. This does not mean that we do not attempt to change what we feel we need and want to change. As I have previously written, we can take care of the details while maintaining a ‘bigger picture’ perspective. We can know that we are going through stuff for a higher reason, while doing what we can to deal with the stuff that we are going through. We live in a pain-phobic society and we tend to gauge our experiences through the pain or pleasure lens. This applies to both physical and psychological pain. This might sound like an unusual statement as nobody, consciously, wants to experience pain. Pain is a given, yet suffering is optional. Our perception of the situations

health and wellbeing we are experiencing has a large influence on how we experience of them. With resistance, we can feel the tightness and tension in the body, the pushing against. Mental resistance will translate into a defensive, inflammatory physiological state if not dealt with at the psychological level. ‘The point of change is when we accept what is’, another paradox. We cannot change what we do not acknowledge and engage. We cannot move forward if we do not accept the now. There are parts of our experience that we just cannot skip over, or spiritually bypass, try as we might.

The more metaphysical meaning suggests accepting reality as it is. ‘This is how it is, right here and right now. So now, let’s deal with it’.

Going with the flow, like water graciously moving around the obstacles rather than directly pushing against them, allows us to be in a more relaxed state and conserve energy as we manoeuvre our way through life situations. Swimming against the current is more exhausting than using the current to help get us to where we want to go.

about necessary change, than those swept up in the fray. Rather than directly fighting against something, we might be better served by choosing otherwise. Yes, we certainly sometimes do need to take a position and stand against what we do not agree with; however, we might be better served if we do this while focussing more on what we stand for, rather than what we might oppose. Doing what we need to at ground level while trusting in the Universal process.

A parent recently confided in me, “She probably spends too much time playing Roblox online with friends…it’s tricky, she doesn’t really play with toys anymore, and being an only child…there seems to be a lot of time without much to do.” In some ways, it’s easy to relax as our kids reach the senior years of primary school. At age 10, 11 and 12 they can have established friend groups and know the expectations of the school system pretty well. Yet another conversation I had with a friend this week confirms what parents of teenagers already know - that parenting high school students requires not less, rather it’s way more: time, energy, supervision and quality connection than is needed in the earlier years.

Could the air fryer, toaster, Nutri-bullet, microwave, fridge, freezer, sandwich press and oven become the new toys for our ‘in-betweeners’?

“Could the air fryer, toaster, Nutri-bullet, microwave, fridge, freezer, sandwich press and oven become the new toys for our ‘in-betweeners’?” Calling out to them from the kitchen around 5pm to do just one task is how it can begin. Peel the potatoes, chop a cucumber, put toppings on a pizza base, grate some cheese; while they become interested in what’s for dinner, kitchen skills will be picked up incidentally. The supervision they’ll need won’t add much of a burden to our own schedule as we’re in there making dinner anyway, and the regular quality

connection, even just a few minutes once a day, will form a foundation for that clear channel of communication we need with them moving forward into secondary school. There are many quotes online regarding the joys of cooking with children; harnessing imagination, embracing mess and being patient. However, teaching kids how to cook isn’t a romantic notion to act on every now and then; it’s an essential life skill! Learning how to plan meals, find ingredients in a supermarket, preparing tasty, healthy food and accepting the clean-up process are all excellent reasons to call kids away from a device. There seems to be a culture of separation in homes now that I would love to see change, whereby kids tap out of family life and into the online world of

friends, even strangers possibly, while the adults in the home live family life around them. As an Education Support Worker, two issues that stand out to me on a daily basis are: Firstly the overwhelming number of students arriving at school looking for adult connection; a chat, sharing of a story or just the chance to do a task together, and secondly how rudimentary a lot of student’s food skills are. Last week a 12-year-old girl approached me and said she’d like to have an orange from the free fruit bowl provided by the school, in each classroom. I reminded her just to help herself, anytime. She lingered, became awkward and said “I don’t know how to peel it, can you show me?” This can be a fantastic starting point. If having the kids in the kitchen around hot surfaces and sharp utensils isn’t something you’re in a position to do just yet, take small steps like showing them how to peel an orange, get used to the

juice dripping, enjoy it, put the peel in the bin, then rinse hands. Alternatively, have them sit at a bench or table, bring out ingredients for toasted sandwiches, encourage them put it together and bring it to the kitchen to place it in the cold sandwich press then go back to their seat. You toast it and deliver it to them and they’ll begin to understand that cooking is a process which they get to feel a part of it, while interacting with us.

Look ahead and imagine them working their first job and saving for a car, choosing to come home and make avocado on toast instead of blowing $20 on a pizza. and utilising the cooking skills you taught them to reach that goal. Another incredible benefit to cooking is the feeling of empowerment it can offer. A typical school day comes with enormous expectations to behave well and comply with instructions. When my 12-year-old asks if he can bake after school, I know it’s been a challenging day for him. Arriving home with the understanding that they can cook and eat whatever they like, offers an avenue of self-regulation; a small portion of the day where they can regain some choice and control in the real world, not a virtual one.

Reflections Rethinking History By Jane Offer In the 1950’s, history as taught in school, was a disjointed and, with today’s knowledge, an inaccurate affair. Only small snapshots such as the Stone Age, Roman Invasion and the Tudors were explored, with no linking information to show natural progression. The general implication was that prior to the Industrial Revolution people had very little skill and were therefore of no interest. Other cultures were mentioned only after they had been ‘discovered’ by the British and the development of writing, agriculture, architecture, science and the allied intricate and advanced-thinking inventions was largely ignored. Many cultures were written off in this way with no acknowledgement whatsoever of their contribution to world advancement. Even Australia was held as a non-event prior to Captain Cook’s ‘first contact’ arrival, despite a raft of evidence showing that trading between the Northern Territory people and Indonesia had been the norm for centuries prior to his landing.

They are responsible for some of the region’s most incredible structures and, as well as being the architects of these ancient cities, they also laid the foundation for all the cultures in this region. From cuisine and ceremony to legend, spiritual belief and language, what was created more than a thousand years ago still exists today. In fact, more than six million direct Maya descendants still live in Mexico and Central America, many of whom still speak Mayan dialects, practice ancient shamanism and prepare centuries-old recipes.

leaving these incredible architectural feats abandoned with no definitive reason as to why. Through archaeological digs, much of the Mayan world has been re-discovered, yet there is still more hidden. Arguably, the most famous site in the world is Chichen Itza and is listed as one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. This beautifully preserved building is an architectural marvel with its position being determined by the sun and the moon and each building having its own symbolic meaning. In approximately 300 B.C., the Mayans developed a complex system of written language based around 800 hieroglyphs. Each represents a syllable and due to its intricate nature, it’s only in the last decades that students have been able to decipher them. Books of paper

made from fig tree bark were filled with this intricate system including three codices that exist today. Sadly, hundreds of books have been lost over time, due to the humid climate of the region and Europeans who burned the written texts. The Mayans valued beauty and followed some stringent regimes, especially in preparation for their ceremonies. They did everything from drilling holes in their front teeth to fit jewels to binding a board to their baby’s forehead to artificially deform the skull for a more aesthetic appearance. Both men and women covered themselves with intricate tattoos depicting animals, spiritual designs and symbols of the gods. Their rituals included hallucinogens as they believed that this was the best way to communicate with spirits. To feel the immediate effects, Mayan spiritual art indicates belief that they may have taken these substances via ritual enemas. Their belief system included sweat ceremonies carried

out in caves that they believed were the entrance to the underworld. They acknowledged ‘Aluxes’, creating images from stone or clay which were placed in the forest, where they believed they would come to life at night and protect the land, crops and animals in their advanced and extensive agricultural practices. Later when the Christians arrived, many of their practices were used to demonise the Mayans, yet on investigation, their belief system is probably closest to the Bible. Many of their legends are reflected in the Old Testament; they tell of Heaven, the Great Flood, which eradicated evil from the Earth and that Man was created from clay. Of course, they practiced human sacrifice to honour and feed the gods in what was considered a joyous celebration. Originally, they offered only the nobility however later they incorporated ordinary folk and criminals. It’s interesting that even now with Christian Communion, the symbology of blood and flesh is still used to honour the deity.

The accuracy of their astronomic calculations without modernday equipment is astounding; they were the first to calculate that the calendar year has 365 days and to use zero as a placeholder. Certainly makes me rethink what I was taught all those years ago and I find that 80 percent of it has been disproved!

The Inner Temple of Divine Time By Freya Savitri Sampson The first 23 years of my life I dutifully followed the Gregorian calendar, 12 months, 12 moons - a 13th called a blue moon in one month. I never questioned it, just showed up to school, study, work at the given 24 hour clock time and did what I was there to do. A soulless rhetoric, I wondered what the point of it all really was? Raised in western society in the 1970’s, in a brown-bread conservative family, my father an accountant and my mother a nurse/housewife, we existed on the edges of the uppermost echelons of our cities wealthy suburbs, neither rich, nor poor. I was raised to become a carbon copy. If I was lucky I’d marry up the echelons.

life, yet feeling confused and oppressed, from these rigid societal constructs. Rock bottom for everyone is different, so is how they handle that. For me, that was depression and nihilism - that’s when everything changed. Firstly there was ‘the awakening’, which threw everything I thought I knew out the window. Now life had purpose and meaning. This is what happens when you remember and reconnect with your soul, and the reasons why it chose to incarnate here on Earth! When it happens suddenly, you’re cast into paradigm shock, because you don’t know how to communicate with people any more. You’ve realised that most of the communication you’ve engaged in is vacuous or around what needs you can get met from any given relationship, because that’s how you were raised in school and what global society bases its agenda around.

Everything has to be rewired internally to create an external reflection of beauty and so the clean-up and the real inner work begins. Like a magnet, I began drawing to me the things that would help me to make sense of it all. One of the first concepts that crossed my path was that astrologically the calendar had been changed. There were once 13 Astrological Signs. Only the theory didn’t make much sense to me because the calendar was supposed to have been created around the moon, of which there are 13 cycles in any given year.

sacred sites The moon represents the feminine, the sun the masculine. In 365 days there is an average of 13.035714285714286 x 28-day lunar cycles - more questions than answers. I knew the Gregorian calendar was wrong, and it, like seemingly everything else in society dismissed the power of the divine feminine. I realised this was an enormous part of why I’d felt so out of sync. It gave me opportunity for self-reflection and a gleaning insight into just how great an impact that had made in my life; mentally, emotionally and why my spirit had been suffering malaise (depression). You cannot be in alignment and flow with nature when the whole systems design keeps you out of sync. The answer to the many more questions raised came to me by a small pocket sized Mayan 13 moon ‘Dreamspell’ calendar.

A Revelation It was 2007 and the work of José Argüelles was spreading across the world. There was a saying at that time about following the Mayan Calendar - ‘One cycle and you’re in!’ I also researched and found this ancient calendar is more accurate that the quantum clock. So, I thought, ‘Why not, let’s give this a go.’ I was living in the Daintree Rainforest in Queensland, Australia at the time. The perfect place for a rebirth. The symbols were entirely different to anything I’d seen before. The concepts were beautiful and the earlier saying I found to be true. One moon cycle

of following the sigils and accompanying text day by day moved my being into a place where time and no-time existed simultaneously - the temple within. No longer did the inner and outer world conflict. As the internal landscape of my relationship with sacred time in alignment with natural time aligned, the outer world reflected this by increasing and amplifying synchronicities; life flowed. I reflected upon the concept of Time is Art, synonymous with José’s and Mayan philosophy. Several months in, I felt I was really beginning to embody the concept. After a full year, life was on a new totally fulfilling trajectory. Every year now on the Day Out of Time - 25th July, I give myself the opportunity to take the time out to let go of that which no longer serves my life, and focus upon that which I choose to create. Life the canvas, time the substance, with which to create your masterpiece; your life.

Africa’s Greatest Mysteries The Mystery of the White Lions

In 2003, hot off the press and just a few years into my early search into the origins of humankind, I was gifted a book by Linda Tucker called ‘Children of the Sun God Mystery of the White Lions’. Linda’s story is both profound and beautiful and began late 1991. Linda and a group of friends found themselves stranded in the African bush veld on a moonless night among a pride of approaching lions. The sudden arrival of an old Shangaan woman, carrying a baby on her back and a small child in tow, who walked through the lions to rescue the group, sparked a journey for Linda into the Lion Shamanism of Africa. This has in turn

uncovered a great mystery into this continent’s story of origin. In the 1970’s, in the staggering expanse of wilderness around the Timbavati area in South Africa, something extraordinary happened. Something that was predicted by tribal shamans long before it occurred. ‘Timbavati’ is a name so old that today’s inhabitants have forgotten its meaning. In Xitsonga, the name ‘Timbavati’ denotes ‘the place where something sacred came down to Earth from the Heaven’. It also means ‘River of stars’ and ‘The River that never runs dry’. The arrival of the White Lions in tribal lore is said to be a gift from God and believed to be prophetic of changing times on earth.

These magnificent beasts were a unique strain never before recorded in zoological history, and their physical birthplace directly corresponds with the ancient position of the Sphinx of Giza. The two locations are connected along the Nilotic Meridian (31 degrees 14 minutes East) and interestingly, the cosmology between both places, particularly with regard to the Milky Way as a great river of stars and as the spinal fluid of the universe, mirrors directly in the Cosmos the invisible meridian in Africa, which connect the two. sacred sites woman who saved her life, a Sangoma (healer) named Maria, who shared with Linda her spiritual lineage of lion protectors originating from ‘The River of stars’ and the importance of their arrival in the Timbavati:

an appeal to those who do not care, to those who have no ears. A plea to those who choose to be nothing in the face of monstrous evil: Leave the lions of the Timbavati alone. Do not destroy the sacred lions of the Gods of Africa.”

I would highly recommend Linda Tucker’s book ‘Children of the Sun God’ for those of you who would like to delve deeper into Africa’s mysteries. I could never summarise all the gold contained within its covers.

Credo, having broken his blood oath to his secret oral tradition and taken on a lifetime of ill fortune, tells us that the Timbavati is a powerful space of star energy. A place of profound healing. He also says that the Great Earth Mother ‘Nomkhubhlwane’ is capable of changing her shape into any animal at will. Most significantly, she can change into a lion or a lioness. Her name means ‘she who assumes the animal identity’, the Zulu term for ‘shape-shifter’. “Our African forefathers gave us this wisdom because they understood what we ourselves should never forget: that is the oneness of the human being, in which the animal and the deity coexist.”- Baba Credo Mutwa Of Linda Tucker’s book, Baba Credo wrote: “A voice rises from the parched valleys of my ancient motherland, a lonely voice rises above the hills of eternal Africa,

I will leave you with this: Africa’s White Lions arrived when a star fell from the sky in the area of the Timbavati in South Africa. Their arrival was prophesied before their arrival by the wisdom keepers of Africa. The White Lions are not only a unique strain in themselves, just their presence a harbinger of the time when humanity would either bow to the primacy of nature or go extinct. On the day that the last of Timbavati’s White Lions was shot, as the prophecy goes, the fate of humanity would be sealed.

It is the moment we shift from one Natural Time Year to another. Some may say it is the ‘mid-stream romp’ into a new financial year, when you might breathe easy or not! Magnetic by tone and nature to unify, attract and fill us with a sense of purpose.
