Gaia’s Children - Part 1
They Matter!
By Charles Snelleksz-Mathelot
My original article for this column was different to the one published. Before I could finalise the original article and send it in for editing, I woke up to guidance directing me to rewrite my column for this issue. I soon recognised the source of my guidance and as I lay awake in my bed listening to the birds heralding in the new day, Gaia had written the article for me. “You think that what humanity has done to the Earth is a great travesty, but I say this to you; it is what humanity does to the children of Gaia that is the biggest travesty of all!” Gaia spoke firmly.
— Mother Teresa
I have been consciously communicating with Gaia, our Earth’s sentient for many years now, yet I have never felt the intensity and urgency in her as I did this morning. She began showing me the reasons for her request that I change my column at such short notice. As I lay there before the dawning of a new day observing my inner screen, she took me on a journey through the most harrowing injustices perpetrated upon the children of the Earth, our children.

Over thirty years of my life has been spent advocating for the rights of children and young people as a youth worker and advocate, and as a youth counsellor. I wrote and managed youth programmes and youth services. I contributed in panels writing government policy for young people experiencing mental health issues, drug addiction and homelessness. I have witnessed the trauma young people live with when they have been ritualistically abused, be it sexual, physical, mental or all three simultaneously.
So much of my life to date has been spent attempting to educate people on why so many adults behave in immature, abusive and dangerous ways. These beings are abused children living in adult bodies and their childhood copping strategies are still in operation, because their personal development was contaminated and stigmatised from childhood.
So many of these children silently believe that they are bad, because bad things are happening to them. Often, in domestic violence situations, the child being abused internalises the evil being done to her or him and becomes entangled in a distorted perception of relationship with the parents or care givers. This pattern of relating becomes the child’s blueprint for future relationships and intrapersonal interaction.

“By developing a contaminated, stigmatized identity, the child victim takes the evil of the abuser into herself and thereby preserves her primary attachments to her parents. Because the inner sense of badness preserves a relationship, it is not readily given up even after the abuse has stopped; rather, it becomes a stable part of the child’s personality structure.”
Judith Lewis Herman, Trauma and Recovery: The Aftermath of Violence - From Domestic Abuse to Political Terror

That morning as I lay there watching the night give way to the morning, Gaia continued her download onto my inner screen. “The children of Gaia belong to God, to themselves and to me! They are here at my invitation and God’s guidance to serve humanity, the planet and the expansion of life in this galaxy.
“They are sent to parents as teachers and messengers to assist the adults in remembering their own soul’s purpose and their divinity. But the continual darkness enforced within the human world is thick and oppressive. The beings living in these worlds are controlled through fear and in turn they control through oppression and fear.

“Programmed systems of beliefs which benefit the controllers are programmed into your minds and bodies and into our children. These programmes are delivered through the many institutions the controllers have set up to obtain maximum compliance. Yes, God and Satan are used interchangeably to harness human fear and keep you in servitude.
“Their version of God is contaminated and stigmatised to give power to their perverted desires. Our children do not matter in this predatory system; they are seen as commodities, as are you dear one. But our children do matter! They are precious to me and important to the survival of humanity everywhere in this multiverse.
We can protect them by empowering them with the knowledge of their true identity. We can remind them of the divine power and wisdom that is within them.”
“An attorney who worked for victims who’d been abused by priests told an investigative reporter, “Mark my words, Mr. Rezendez, if it takes a village to raise a child, it takes a village to abuse one.” And it does. It always has.
But the film showed that it takes a village to stop the abuse too. One rogue attorney unwilling to let it go. One survivor who stood up first and said you can use my name. One newspaper editor who said “this matters.” And a team who pulled their hearts and minds into it.” - Rachael Denhollander, from her book and the subsequent film - What Is a Girl Worth? My Story of Breaking the Silence and Exposing the Truth about Larry Nassar and USA Gymnastics
We must stand up for our children and assist others to do so as well, because it will take all of us to free the minds, bodies and hearts of all our children and keep them safe!
