We Care & Give Back
Washington DC Feast of Sharing at the WEWCC T the Walter E Washington Convention Center our Smart City team members participated in the 20th annual Safeway Feast of Sharing. Volunteers worked to provide; Thanksgiving dinner, medical clinics and free flu shots, haircuts, manicures, a visit with the Washington Nationals President Mascots and warm clothing to 5,000+ needy individuals and families in the Washington, DC area.

Smart City has participated in this annual event since 2016. The Washington, DC Mayor and Council Members, Events DC Board and Executive team and staff, and hundreds of other volunteers help in this event.
Picture RIGHT: Jim Erickson (General Manager) with Washington Nationals President Mascot Since the Smart City team knows the facility so well, we serve as the welcoming team to assist guests in finding their way through the Walter E Washington Convention Center. Smart City also provides the network connections for the local news stations to broadcast the event.
