Toyful Joyful at the Duke Energy Convention Center

ARNOLD CHAVEZ (General Manager), participated in the annual Toyful Joyful event at the Duke Energy Convention Center on December 11. During the event, kids from inner-city schools, Rothenberg Academy (OTR), Frederick Douglass Elementary (Walnut Hills) and J.P. Parker (Madisonville), were served a Christmas buffet luncheon, treated to a Christmas program with Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus and presented with several Christmas gifts. There were over 600 students and 60 teachers and staff in this year’s celebration. The Duke Energy Convention Center personnel and its partners, including Smart City Networks, got to see the impact their efforts have on underserved children in the city of Cincinnati. The generosity of donated gifts, as well as everybody’s time and positive, professional energy at the event, contributed to an exceptionally festive experience for these children. and J.P.
