Microsoft Ignite 2019
THIS past November, the Orange County Convention Center held Microsoft Ignite 2019. More than 25,000 people were in attendance to learn innovative ways to build solutions to migrate and manage infrastructure while focusing on software development, security, architecture, and IT.
In the third year of the Ignite event in Orlando, the Smart City team of 36, allocated 10 Gbps of fully redundant bandwidth to more than 600 main drops in support of the show’s wireless initiatives, keynotes, sessions, exhibit floor, and registration. The Smart City team also built out a substantial fiber network in support of numerous video streams both locally and available for online viewing. With the help of Mike Prosser from the Smart City Networks NOC and our partnership with F1 Consultancy and Microsoft, the 2019 event was again a huge success.
