giant Christmas ornaments that made for the perfect selfie opportunity. They decorated the giant Plaza fountain with floating LED Christmas Trees. Holiday songs could be heard playing from the permanent speaker system, playing music synchronized with dancing water fountains. A small train for children, a Choir, and a brass band were also brought in for the celebration. The latest addition to the décor was a giant 80-foot long LED lit red bow that was placed atop the theater and lit up at the same time the tree and fireworks went off. Santa, Mrs. Claus, and several elves also made appearances to take pictures with the many children in attendance. We enjoyed working with you! You helped kick off our process of condensing and rearrange our holiday “Merry Thriftmas” shop which helped maximize the space & stock more clothing racks on our floor. If we hadn’t had your help, this project would have been left to our assistant manager Dan on his own and what you completed in your shift would likely have taken him a couple of days to complete! We are all thrilled (and especially Dan) and so appreciative of the gift of your time! Please relay our warmest thanks to your entire team. Please convey a special “thank you” to Tim Taylor (CSSR) as well for suggesting & encouraging Arc’s Value Village as your volunteer site! We hope you’re willing to come and volunteer with us again in the future! Thank you for your support of The Arc Minnesota and people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families!” Molly Lindblad, Volunteer Development tion Center hopes everyone had a wonManager, Arc’s Value Village derful holiday season!
