he Expo managers and exhibitors are all geared up and excited to welcome visitors and new exhibitors to the recently refurbished Expo site at the Western Sydney Dragway. Australia’s state borders are open, the population is gradually becoming vaccinated and, thankfully, we are about to say goodbye to COVID-19, which has been an annoying disruption to our lives over the last year. Talking to people in the earthmoving and construction industry, there are glowing reports about how everyone is busy and there is plenty of work and positivity about the year ahead. Even more significant are the reports from the exhibitors who have signed up for this year’s National Diesel Dirt & Turf Expo and the commitment from the Expo’s sponsors, who see great value in supporting the event. Diesel Dirt & Turf Expo sponsors include gold sponsor Komatsu Australia, gold media sponsor Earthmovers & Excavators and Deals on Wheels magazines, major supporter Pickles and associate sponsors Just Automotive Recruitment, Norm Engineering, Truck Assist, Yellow Cover, Hydraulic Steels, Kerfab, Earthmoving Equipment magazine and Australian Earthmoving magazine. These sponsors clearly understand the benefits of presenting a strong presence at Australia’s largest and most progressive construction industry expo. What has been particularly attractive is the new layout and all-weather site that guarantees visitors easy navigation and access to all exhibitors, which makes sure no one misses out on all the sales action.

It is the sales and business done at the Expo that brings exhibitors back year after year, as well as the huge savings from the special deals. DDT exhibitors says that this year promises to be no exception. Located away from the busy traffic thoroughfares surrounding Penrith, the new Dragway site is easily accessible via the M4 motorway and the A44 Great Western Highway. For visitors wishing to find accommodation in the area, there are plenty of options and special deals for country and interstate visitors. Links to these may be found on the Diesel Dirt & Turf website at www.dieseldirtandturf.com.au. The event is CovidSafe compliant and anyone planning to visit the Expo can book their free tickets online via the Diesel Dirt & Turf website. There will be plenty of food vendors, licensed bars, places to relax and entertainment with the Freestyle Kings motorbike team. The equipment demonstration site has been reconfigured to ensure visitors can get up-close and personal with new machines and attachments to help you make those all-important decisions on which what equipment will help you achieve greater profitability in the year ahead. Make sure you note the date in your calendar now: Friday, April 9 through to Sunday, April 11.   Entry to the 2021 National Diesel Dirt & Turf Expo is free and there is this plenty of free parking. Visit www. dieseldirtandturfexpo.com.au to register for your free entry ticket.
