jaw crusher gets a revamp

The newly-launched Bison 120 jaw crusher from EvoQuip features a new fuel-efficient Deutz 2.2 L3 Stage V engine, larger crusher drive motor and adjustable belt tensioner.

The Bison 120 also offers a programmable logic controller with push button control panel, a remote control and access to the engine bay from all three sides.

Other features include a 680mm x 400mm single toggle jaw crusher, which is driven hydraulically to allow the user to reverse the crusher if required.

Since the creation of the original Bison 120 in 2016, more than 100 units have been sold and product manager Gaby Stewart says it has been a popular product.

“The Bison 120 has proved to be a very popular EvoQuip machine, with customers throughout the world, due to ease of transport, simplicity of use, and being ideal for single operator use as well as providing the ability to quickly convert waste into profit,” says Stewart.

The Bison 120 is available in Australia through Mineral Processing Solutions.

Services (CMS) into the MyKomatsu portal online

The shift to incorporate CMS into MyKomatsu – the company’s online customer portal – will see increased functionality for users and provide them a more user-friendly interface for dealing with Komatsu.

Komatsu national manager – condition monitoring, Stephen Clarke, says the integration of CMS with myKomatsu presents a better experience for customers.

“The increased functionality available through the integration of Komatsu CMS within myKomatsu means the whole process of managing oil sampling will be faster, more efficient, less prone to human error and easier to use,” Clarke says.

“Importantly, it provides a single login that gives access not only to Komatsu CMS, but also ordering and managing the delivery of parts, consumables, components and other Komatsu products and services.”

Under the new system, customers can see condition monitoring records for the entire range of Komatsu machines and equipment efficiently and also can generate custom reports, which highlight and extract client-specific data and information.

Barcoded sample cards that capture machinespecific data also ensure the sample card process is easier and less prone to error, according to Clarke.

“This offers significant customer benefits, including far less handling and form-filling, eliminates the need to keep providing duplicate information, reduces room for error when dealing with multiple machines, and means we are consistently recording all pre-existing machine data,” he says.
