Joe Ostrowski Receives 2022 Ed Freel Membership Award By Angela Arthmire, Dec-O-Art The Membership Award was established in 2000 to recognize those members who went above and beyond on behalf of the National Association of Trailer Manufacturers (NATM) in recruiting new members. From 2000 to 2007 the award was given to Ed Freel of KampCo Steel and thus was renamed, the Ed Freel Membership Award in his honor. And it seems we have an individual amongst us who is following in Ed’s footsteps. For the third time, the Ed Freel Membership Award is being given to Joe Ostrowski of Kenda/Americana Tire & Wheel Corporation. Joe is a tireless advocate for the Association and a constant on NATM committees. Joe is regularly in contact with NATM about prospective members, many times having helped lay the groundwork with the company before NATM even makes contact. Joe’s tenure in the tire industry has been illustrious, and during that time, he has amassed a vast network of friends, not just customers. He has helped to open the door for NATM amongst these friends, even helping the Association get into manufacturing facilities that have long been prospect members. Joe’s commitment to the mission of NATM and his belief in membership as a value-added proposition has been an integral part of our recruiting efforts.
