enise and I would like to take this opportunity to wish all our readers a happy Christmas and a great 2022.
In our June Quarter edition we paid tribute to our 22 Life members and in our March Quarter edition we recognised the tremendous contribution our volunteers make to the on-going success of our Club. In this edition we have focussed on the etiquette of bowls and how this impacts on sportsmanship. We also have some more articles on "Getting to know our members". Thanks to: • Denis Croker for the Christmas card on page 4 and for adding "diddy" bowls to the Christmas tree we have used on the cover • Brian Lucas who is always prepared to improve and embellish our articles • Jim Woodward for his articles on Ted McGrady, Brian Staples, Cheryl Greig and Arthur Richards • Our anonymous contributor for his first article entitled “From the most lovable characters series” • Jan Paniperis who continues to do our proof reading and corrects our split infinitives, spelling and punctuation • Trevor Orton, Wendy Flack and Richard Bone for their help • Larry Perry who helps with photographs of our winners • All our regular contributors for their reports and funny stories Apologies Unfortunately we managed to leave out the "punch line" on Spider's story on page 49 of our September Quarter news magazine. The story listed 56 things men need to do to keep a women happy. What was missing were the two things on HOW TO MAKE A MAN HAPPY These are to Show up naked and bring beer and food.
