More Help Needed!

Grant income is extremely important to the Sorrento Bowling Club, resulting in more than $150,000 into the Club’s coffers over the past decade. We are looking for a volunteer or volunteers to help secure this crucial grant funding for the Club. The role involves scanning the various grant funding sources, mainly federal, state and local governments but also other funding agencies such as LotteryWest and Healthways.

Where opportunities are identified to seek grant funding this role prepares the necessary application in response to the relevant selection criteria and follows up with associated paperwork. Once a successful grant has been completed an acquittal process is required.

To undertake the role, you need to have research and analytical skills and reasonable written skills. The role is not onerous as far as time goes because the policies have already been developed and mostly require review and where necessary updating.
