and overflows onto the rest of the green. You could be two rinks away but you can still tune in to what Bob Mulroy is up to. Pure entertainment with his comments and antics are a most welcome distraction. Bob has a ton of experience and a treasure chest of stories reaching back over the years. His animated discussions hold our attention and create amusement and merriment during after game drinks. Bob completely overpowers his surroundings – a terrific bowler and even more enjoyable as a person. Everything he says is tongue in cheek with a sparkle in the eye. Is he joking or is he serious? With his mischief and jocular mayhem, we will never know. When you bowl against Bob it is very easy to read his game. You can predict exactly what shot he is going to play next and you can envisage his line. If you think that might be good, the bad news is that there is not much you will be able to do about it. Sure as “eggs are eggs” he will be bang on target and your "ass will be grass". Horrible, to play against guys like these! Could be quite painful if it wasn't for the lively personality and the constant good-natured jibes that take away the some of the sting. Bob will confess with the deepest sincerity that he fears your ability and would rather not play against you and all the while you will get this strange sensation that someone is cutting the grass under your feet. Moments later your worst fears may be realised when he systematically demolishes your game and proceeds to whip your ass! Bob exudes leadership and sheer force of personality – this is the guy who helped last year’s Div. 3 to win the season and gain a promotion
