Air Conditioning System (Cabin) To operate the air conditioning system, proceed as follows : SWITCHING ON THE AIR CONDITIONING Before starting the engine, make sure that the air conditioning switch is in the “OFF” position, blowers are in “OFF” position. With the engine running, rotate the knob of blower to 1 or 2 blower speed. After 2 mins switch on the AC to start the air conditioner at low idle for a while. Then gradually increase engine speed for moving the tractor.
The air conditioning system will not function when the engine is not running, as the engine drives the compressor.
ADJUSTMENT To obtain correct cab air conditioning, when the system is in operation keep the recirculation mode, while keeping the doors and rear windows closed. For maximum cooling, the knob must be turned fully to the right in a clockwise direction. The conditioner dehumidifying function operates at all temperatures and can be set by rotating the knob. In order to create optimum temperature conditions, after prolonged idle periods in hot sunshine, it is advised to start the tractor moving, then switch on the air conditioning and open the rear window for approximately one minute, to discharge the hot air out of the cab.
Use fresh air mode in normal conditions and heater ON condition. Keep the windows closed while AC is in operation for efficient cooling operation. Turn off the air conditioner for better engine power when the work load rapidly increases. When the tractor is stationery and being used in high load work, reduce the AC operation period as the engine may be over heated.
SWITCHING OFF THE AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM Before stopping the engine, always switch OFF the air conditioner by switching OFF AC switch, then turn the fan control knob to the "OFF" position.
