A. Inspect springs for permanent
set and wear due to rubbing adjacent parts. Replace the spring if any of these defects are identified or if the spring fails to meet published service limits. Reference the Service Manual SM3191EN Spring Data Charts for spring identification and service limit specifications.
Inspect springs for signs of discoloration, permanent set or wear due to rubbing adjacent parts.
