Now more than ever, telehealth has become a necessary transition for healthcare providers. By transitioning to virtual and telemedicine visits, we aim to help patients manage chronic conditions and other care to try to keep them out of hospital emergency rooms. Not only is the service convenient for patients who might fear the spread of the sickness, but it’s also a protection for our staff within the Grace Health organization. Additionally, for those who need treatment for chronic illnesses, there is no risk of transmission of contagious sickness, and allows follow up appointments to be virtual. With our telehealth program, you can connect to your healthcare provider by using a computer, an iPad, tablet or phone from the safety of your home. The telehealth program functions like our clinics in many ways. Grace Health is able to provide care for patients with symptoms like sore throat, fever, cough, congestion, and respiratory problems, To meet these needs, Grace Health has expanded telemedicine to 36 sites including six primary care clinics, one women’s health clinic, nineteen school-based health centers, seven nursing homes, and one hospital. Services include primary care, consultations, behavioral health, and patient engagement. Visits are first-come, first-serve, and wait times will vary depending on demand. The program is led by our expert health team of board-certified providers and staffed by the same Grace Health workers the communities have come to know and trust.
