The Grace Heath team helps people take advantage of insurance opportunities

One of Grace Health's Community Outreach and Enrollment Specialists, Mike Wynn, stated that he is proud that Grace Health operates more like a mission than an agency. Mike's roll is to help the communities and Grace Health patients to enroll for affordable and accessible health care.

Grace Health strives to reach out to all individuals, to provide information about how to get health care or how to best utilize the health care they already have. Grace Health also helps people complete the enrollment process.

One of the agencies that the enrollment team works with is the Department of Medicaid, which offers an Expanded Medicaid Program. This program allows individuals to work and receive income, while potentially being able to qualify for a Kentucky Medical Card. Grace Health also works with KCHIP, which is Kentucky's Children Health Insurance Program. Grace Health works alongside the state of Kentucky to ensure that our children have adequate health care to access the care they need.

Beyond helping individuals with these two agencies, Grace Health also helps individuals enroll in the Affordable Care Act called the "Marketplace Coverage". This is health insurance for people whose income is over the Medicaid limit. This is affordable and quality health care that the government has deemed the essential minimum coverage, ensuring even if you have preexisting health concerns. you can get coverage at no additional cost. This Marketplace Coverage through the Affordable Care Act is able to provide high-quality healthcare, at a very affordable price.

Part of the role of Grace Health's Outreach and Enrollment team is to make access to highquality health care easy. Grace Health has the ability to be mobile and help people enroll anywhere and is not restricted to an office at Grace Health. The outreach and enrollment team makes every effort to meet you where you are at, including setting up at factories, street corners, and out in the community.
