Distribution Team Sees Eventful 2021 POWER & ENERGY MARKET n

This past year has been exciting for the New England Distribution team, who kicked off 2021 by signing a threeyear master service agreement with an electricity supplier in Maine. In June, the team extended a master service agreement with another energy supplier in New Hampshire for another three years. In late July, the team took the opportunity to celebrate their hard work throughout the pandemic with a barbecue, where they also toured two of the company’s 12 new bucket trucks and a new tensioner and puller. One of this year’s highlights includes an emergency project in Carmel, Maine, in July where the team had to install a step-down pad-mount transformer to shed load off of a substation. All of this work happened over a four-day window, and many team members canceled their Fourth of July plans to help with this effort.

Another highlight from last year is the team’s deployment to Connecticut to assist after Hurricane Henri hit in August, where teams from New Hampshire and Maine helped restore power. While 2021 was an exciting year, the team also looks ahead to 2022, which will surely be another year of growth for the New England Distribution team. THE CHATTER
