Cuban drug Heberprot-P registered in South Korea

The Cuban drug Heberprot-P, the only therapy for the effective healing of diabetic foot ulcers, which has treated more than 132,000 patients in 20 countries, was recently registered in South Korea.

This drug, developed and designed by the Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, to address an unresolved medical need, is administered directly into the damaged tissues, generating accelerated granulation of the lesions; it reduces the risk of amputation and favors the healing of complex wounds and ischemic ulcers. Previously, this product was applied in Slovakia, the first country in the European Union to use it, with a positive impact on almost all patients.
