he perfect storm. This is the title of the contribution that sums up what the Italmopa top management had to say about the national and international economic situation. The milling sector was already not in good shape, although the food sector as a whole was well placed in the national economic scenario. The problem is that the uncertain environment and outlook are stopping investment and holding back development. The article points out that the current critical situation affects two-thirds of the food industry, calling for the redesigning of economic policies that will strengthen both Italy and Europe.
