General Member Exemplary Recognition Award Evaluation Criteria: This award is presented to a GRADUATE General Member. The documented activities should only highlight the Soror’s involvement as a General Member for a minimum of four (4) years prior to submitting for the award.

Membership and Attendance D. Must have been recognized by the Corporate Office as a General Member

E. Attendance at Regional events, i.e. Cluster, Regional Conferences, AKA Day at the Capitol, Regional Founders’ Day, and Other Special Events for the past four years

F. Attendance at International Events i.e., Boule, Leadership Conferences, Founders’ Day, and other Special Events. Attendance at these events may cover the past four years of general membership.

SORORITY INVOLVEMENT - 50 POINTS II

This list shows examples of activities that demonstrate sorority involvement. The Soror also may include other activities to demonstrate her involvement. A minimum of two years of activities should be highlighted: A. Leadership positions held at the Regional and/or International levels (i.e., officer, committee chairman, or committee member) B. Participation at Regional events as a volunteer, workshop facilitator, guest speaker, etc. C. Participation at International events as a volunteer, workshop facilitator, guest speaker, etc. D. Participation and support for local chapters’ programs, projects, and fundraising. The name of the chapter must be included. E. Participation and support for International programs, projects, and fundraising, i.e., EAF and HBCU – “One Million Dollars in One Day”

Scholarships, awards, self-improvement for the past four years

CLARITY AND NEATNESS (Overall Appearance) - 5 POINTS (Easy to follow, clear and concise, appropriate grammar and appropriate # of pages)

COVER - Must include Soror’s Name, City and State of Residence Notes: Scrapbook with journaling required. Submissions must not exceed 30 pages. More than two years of documentation maybe provided; but at a minimum two years must be included.
